But I will say, fanning the flames is a two-edged sword. A little bit of critical, scientific thinking will rub off on people, if they try to justify their faith using scientific thinking.
Soon enough, some of them will, at least, withhold judgement until more evidence is available.
Others may simply see through the arguments that are made.
Few if any will be convinced, who are not already convinced. So, your efforts may backfire.

You have to be accusing many generations of scientists to be colluding across centuries of time, all in some kind of vast conspiracy to delude the religious set of their idea of truth.
Is that what you think? Generations of scientists coming to the same conclusion, sciences from archaeology to geology to physics to astronomy, each with totally different techniques and coming to the same conclusion that the Earth is over 4 billion years old give or take a few mil.

I think you are the one who will be proven wrong. There is too many lines of solid research in many different disciplines that all arrive at roughly the same date for the age of the Earth.
