That's rich coming from someone who believes there are no moral absolutes. You think I'm 'disturbed' according to which objective standard again?
Do you think you can do that and then resist the dark places your mind is drawn to? We both agree that without God, mankind is responsible for its own concept of right and wrong and that this is unlikely to be consistent across the entire planet. (This is obviously the case if there is no moral lawgiver). Process that and then stop with the sick questions. (You will need to do this of your own accord as weak Christians like Sonship won't challenge you on it).

I was a Christian for almost 30 years. I make no secret of the fact. The point was that lemon lime went from not believing in eternal torture to believing in eternal torture in the space of a few posts and after a PM from Grampy Bobby.

Another rather ridiculous fuddy duddy blowhard kind of Christian - like you are - who did something similar on the topic of eternal torture was josephw. He explicitly called the theology an abomination but then appeared to start subscribing to it in order to differentiate himself from divegeester and because he had no appetite for standing in front of the sonship hairdryer.

really matter what anyone did, or once believed if true. It is possible you didn't say it in
this thread, but elsewhere, even so that is now the past and we all know how you dislike
the past, at least talking about yours.
I'm getting way too much mileage out of this, ask what you will I'll answer.

Originally posted by @lemon-limeI have told the story accurately. What you actually believe is scarcely here nor there.
It would be arrogant to presume to know what anyone else remembers or believes, so if that's how you remember it and you want to call it "not believing" that is your prerogative.
During that 40 years I learned to trust God, regardless of whether or not I understood what I was reading. I struggled with the idea of eternal torment, but this does not mean I disbelieved it.

The episode with lemon lime happened in 'real time' here on a thread on this forum. It was a case of the need for acrimonious Christian-on-Christian banter ~ lemon lime's stock in trade here a few years back ~ trumping belief and principle.
After all, you have divegeester for that now, I suppose.
Oh, yeah, we can't forget your other tool against Christians, Rajk.
