For His love for us the Father sent the Son (Jesus Christ the very word of God) He sent Him to be one of us, where the Almighty Son of God took our sins upon Himself, became sin for us so we could be forgiven, saved from the wrath of God that is coming.
This is true. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
Being clothed in the blood of Christ's redemption we know God is satisfied with the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all. We can have boldness to enter into His presence.
When I ask again and again for Rajk999 to tell me when he last told Jesus that he loved Him or called to the Father ... "Abba Father" I am trying to see if he has ever known this boldness through the redeeming blood of Jesus to approach God with a clear conscience.
This is not the END of the Christian experience. But it is the beginning and the firm foundation upon which the Christian can GO ON to obey, to grow, to develop and to be conformed to the image of Christ the Firstborn Son.
Where is his boldness?
"Let us therefore come forward with boldness to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace for timely help." (Hebrews 4:16)
And again - HOW much the blood of Christ's redemption purifies our conscience from DEAD works". God is completely satisfied with the offering of Christ Himself on our behalf.
"How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" (Hebrews 9:14)
@sonship saidYes, it is at the cross of Christ we can take our hope not in our performance, not on our merit, nothing about us can attract God to us, but the good news is God loves us and calls us to Him. I fail to see why to tell you the truth, I look around at all the things we are doing to each other in the world, but still where sin abounds grace abounds more, and we can take our hope and put it in Jesus Christ, thankfully it is in Him we hope, not ourselves.

Romans 5:1-3 English Standard Version (ESV)
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
Romans 5:19-21 English Standard Version (ESV)
For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Our salvation is all God, not us because it was the Father who sent the Son while we were yet sinners for us.
Yes. "Father, thankyou."
The Son of God who laid down His life for us and took our punishment in full!
Yes. We all like sheep have gone astray. And God has laid upon Him the iniquity of us all.
There a supposedly teachers of the New Testament who seem to feel that they have "graduated" from the redeeming blood of Jesus. Or they feel it is a cop-out to praise God because of His redemption through the offering of Christ of Himself for our sins.
There is NO SUCH THING as being SO spiritual that one has no need anymore for the blood of Jesus. NO SUCH THING.
ToO, the secretive atheist (as far as I can detect), puts himself forward as an accurate teacher of the Gospel. He has nothing but contempt for the redeeming blood of Christ. He thinks "loosed" from our sins rather then "washed" or "cleansed" from our sins somehow undercuts the doctrine of the propitiation of Christ FOR man because of man's sins.
How can I possibly recommend such a one as a teacher of the truth of the Gospel?
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 john 1:9)
He Himself is the propitiatory sacrifice for the sins of the world.
"And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for those of the whole world." (2:2)
Much apparent concern for obedience and righteous living is actually disguised rebellion against belief in Jesus as the propitiation for man's sins.
Much " You guys never talk about the obeying of the simple commandments of Christ! " has at its underlying objection that Christ's offering of Himself on Calvary under the wrath of God was not effective to bring us to God.
A couple of critics think I only care about forgiveness and not sanctification. But it is very, very difficult for me to give any appearance that the Christian EVER, EVER "graduates" from the need to approach God through the blood of Christ's redemption.

True, they confuse the two in application as they speak of them.
The goal has never changed for God; we were created to be in the image of God. I cannot fathom what that is; it is beyond me. When I think about the universe, it cannot contain God. He is eternal in scope and perfection, and it is no wonder we stumble all over ourselves attempting to think about what He is like so we can understand Him. I was studying about the attributes of God yesterday, and it was said by someone that God isn't a bunch of pieces thrown together, love, Mercy, Just, Holy, and so on and these things make up God, He simply is and those words are used in our meager attempt to wrap our minds around Him. It is small wonder when those who had close contact with Him fell on their faces crying out things like, “… I'm a man of unclean lips...” He has been protecting us from close contact from Him until He could remove our guilt from us, and He did that at the cross, but that starts our walk with Him, that starts our seeking to know Him it isn't the end its the beginning of an eternal quest, to know God.
Isaiah 6:5
And I said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts!”
This salvational work of God means that God has total preeminence in our salvation as well. We can take no credit for it; therefore, those arguing they are owed by God to be saved because they are good enough for whatever reason are outside of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ and will die in their sins.
Yes. " In EVERYTHING ... give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
In my opinion, if a Christian can give thanks in all circumstances, all situations, thanks when he is up, thanks when she is down, praise in every kind of environment and to "Always rejoice" they will be an overcomer.
They will be one not only saved but reigning with Christ.
We are to rejoice in the Lord always. That is not rejoicing in our situation. But it IS rejoicing IN THE LORD.
This is trust. This is holding fast that He is over all and in control.
He saved us for eternal life. CERTAINLY, in temporal life we can TRUST Him too to save.
You touched on some of this I think in referring to Paul's word in Romans five.
Boasting in tribulation. Boasting in Christ that is in tribulation. As we are in endurance God is working to transform us.
The circumstances become the very fertile soil within which we grow into the image of Christ via our boast, praise, trust in Him.
For eternity He saved us. Much more in our daily ups and downs He is with us and will never forsake us.

Praise the Lord. And thankyou. This helps me much in the Lord.
@sonship saidI have to tell you one of the more complicated studies I've done is on what you just said, when I looked at our circumstances and how we handle them, complaining and murmuring. Fear is the other one that follows in this vein as well; all of them are us not trusting in or putting in our faith that God is looking out for us and taking care of us. I’ll write another book if I start going on this topic, I will say to what you said, amen. 😊
