Ok, I’m not familiar with the standard meaning. Can you identify what the standard meaning is?

Were you referring to the judgment in Romans or Revelation?
Originally posted by @fmfYou think God makes a decision on where someone is going to spend eternity after they die?
The superstitious notion that there is a decision made about the destination, so to speak, of each human after they die.
What are you basing that belief on?
Originally posted by @fmfI guess you can’t work yourself out of that pickle lol

Do you have examples of what they said that led you to that belief?

Originally posted by @fmfI was just asking why you think God decides the destination of people after they die. If you don’t remember what Christians posted about it or books/verses they referenced, that’s Ok.

I was just asking for a definition of agnostic atheist since that is how you described yourself. It hardly seems worth a thread.
Originally posted by @fmfSo when you appear to back up Rajk's self-serving notions, asking actual Christians here if they can defend against his details of them, you are just "taking the piss"? Is that it?
Three questions. [1] I don't believe in the existence of "Heaven". [2] No. What a trite notion. I am an agnostic atheist. "Escape clause"? [3] No. What you are saying sounds a bit silly and facile to me. I may not be a trenchant atheist like Ghost of a Duke but I certainly feel I have no reason to believe that the Christians who post here - including you, diveg ...[text shortened]... ster and Rajk999 - are revealing anything real about a supernatural being or an afterlife to me.

I wish you’d look into that memory patch I mentioned. It’s called Rivastigmine and it’s for short-term memory problems. As I said earlier, it works wonders (very effective) but is not cheap.
You also need a prescription from a doctor to get it. Just print out a few of the threads from this forum and give them to your physician. You’ll have no problem getting a prescription.
