You are quoting Paul because you dont even know what Jesus said.
You are not one of the sheep of Christ.
You are not a follower of Christ
You cannot hear Christ voice and follow him.
Oh .. we are not friends.
Sheep are not friends with goats.
“I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.“

Jesus Christ’s words were quoted to you previously and you either ignored or have forgotten them.
“I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.“
(John 8:24)
- Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees
- Jesus called them the children of the Devil
- Jesus said that they were evil, sinful and are liars and murderers
Did you also see that Jesus said:
- those who are of God hears his words
- those who continues in his word, then are they are his disciples
Those who profess no belief are not necessarily evil and liars and murderers. Those who live righteously are of God and these people [regardless of their professed belief] will enter the Kingdom of God.
In all of Christ teachings good works and righteousness is a greater virtue than mouth profession of faith.
From a devotional I received via e-mail this morning:
“If someone asks you, “What must I do to inherit eternal life?” you would probably tell him, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved,” wouldn’t you?
Well, a rich, young ruler asked Jesus the same question, but instead of telling him to believe in Him, Jesus gave him the law. (Mark 10:17–22)
Jesus saw that the young ruler lived his life taking pride in his ability to keep the law to earn salvation and the favor of God. But because of His love for the man, Jesus had to show him that those who live by the law must realize that their self-efforts cannot save them.
He therefore reminded him, “You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery…‘Do not steal...‘Honor your father and your mother.’” The young ruler showed that his trust was in his law-keeping when he replied, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.”
So Jesus had to tell him, “One thing you lack…sell whatever you have and give to the poor…and come…and follow Me.” When the young ruler heard that, he walked away sorrowful.
When we boast of having kept the law, it will always point out something we lack or have failed to obey. The law is so holy and perfect that if we don’t keep even one iota of it, it has no choice but to judge and curse us. (Galatians 3:10) That is what the law was designed to do.
God does not want us to boast in our abilities to keep the law. If we are to have confidence in anything at all, if we are to boast in anything at all, it is in the grace of God. Only His grace can completely keep, save, heal, deliver and bless us.
So let’s not boast in what we have done or are able to do, but boast in His grace for us—that He is our strength, health, favor, provision, wisdom, hope, salvation and glory. That is how we will see ourselves enjoying our inheritance of abundant life!“

By the way looking after your mother is not good works.
Professing your faith alone is not good enough.
Paul said to these SAVED CHRISTIAN SAINTS [who professed their faith, they believed in God] that it is only if they FOLLOW CHRIST, avoided sin, ONLY THEN can they enter the Kingdom of God
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us,
and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness,
let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting,
which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person,
nor covetous man, who is an idolater,
hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. (Ephesians 5:1-5 KJV)
Saved yes
Eternal life - only if they are righteous.

You think one obtains eternal life by good works yet you have yet to identify how many good works are needed.
Now you apparently are saying that Jesus gives eternal life to anyone who does good works because He knows them.
So if Adolf Hitler shoveled snow from his neighbor’s sidewalk when he was 9 years old, Jesus granted him eternal life and made him one of his sheep? And when Hitler started killing Jews, Jesus just threw up His hands?
I think my mother would differ on whether my caring for her constitutes a good work 🙂
When will you learn that good works follow accepting Christ? That good works are a manifestation of a person’s salvation but not the cause of it?

Looking after your mother falls into this category..
For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
(Luke 6:32-35 KJV)

What do you think happened to the Good Samaritan. who did not even know of Christ.
The former are mouth worshippers, and are the goats
The latter is the sheep of Christ and will enter the kingdom of God.
Looking after someone else's mother is good works, looking after your own mother is not good works. The fact that you claim looking after your own mother is good works means that you are really a badly screwed up church going goat, lost and going nowhere.
Ok Im done. Got some work to do.

There's two parts to the quotation, isn't there?
Clause One: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son
Clause Two: that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
The second clause is there because the first part has to be contextualized. If the second clause didn't exist, it would imply that the tota ...[text shortened]... about hell[/i] found in the Bible, in texts around John 3:16 to justify your position....
My OP is a clear representation of the incongruence and incoherence of this eternal suffering teaching - Jesus won't be in hell overseeing the eternal torture of billions of people, because it doesn't make any sense and is morally abhorrent.
Hiding behind notions of perceived ultimate religious justice just makes you sound like a terrorist, a religious extremist who is content to know that an eternal holocaust of unimaginable scale is occurring while you play in the heavenly fields with the lions and lambs.
I find you Christians who accept this teaching, who stand by it, who propagate it ... I find you an anathema and your medieval torturing god figure to be a sleight on the name of my Lord.
