When a racer at Daytona tests his engine (before the race), he is doing it to be sure it works right, so that at the end , the best car (presidential candidate?) wins. He can't complain that he was not allowed to be sure the system (his motor) worked correctly. Wouldn't Biden welcome this? Am I missing something??

This is the same thing, although it is tested actual ...[text shortened]... driver B, but you get my drift.

Finally, a post that everyone can understand and agree with!!!!!!
As Larry Tribe said, that's like a bank robber saying he was just testing the bank's alarm system.

The Donald should refrain from breaking the law and urging others to break them.

No, it's not. Stay on the issue, please. Car race, presidential race, you can get this.

@mghrn55

Come Jan 20, if it is contested, Pelosi is announced as POTUS. Still a win for Dems.
Works for me because now Trump's buddies on SCOTUS cannot protect him and there are many civil and criminal lawsuits against Trump so maybe the truth about his corruption will come out. If he is convicted, who becomes permanent POTUS?

I already got this. From the article I already linked to:

""It is illegal to vote twice in an election," said Karen Brinson Bell, executive director of the North Carolina State Board of Elections. Bell said state law made it a "Class I felony" for a voter, "with intent to commit a fraud to register or vote at more than one precinct or more than one time ... in the same primary or election."

"Attempting to vote twice in an election or soliciting someone to do so also is a violation of North Carolina law," Brinson Bell added"

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2020/09/03/nc-elections-illegal-vote-twice-after-trump-comment/5702513002/

Trump broke the law and anybody in North Carolina who follows his advice will be committing a felony.

Do you "get this"?

I do get this. He explained what he meant, made perfect sense, and it is a good idea./ If you think that it was not 'good enough' that he explained/clarified what he was saying (that you vote, then go to the polls to be sure it shows that your vote was registered), then you cannot possibly think that Hillary's explanation of the server in her bathroom was 'good enough'. But you do,... don't you.....

You see the reeking double standards that you folks espouse

It's a "good idea" to commit a felony?

Trump already broke the law by his stupid, illegal advice.

OK. Then why have there been no charges brought against him? A FELONY. Nothing. There has not been a HINT of a felony. Nothing. Give it a rest. You overreach while we repubs are trying to save our country. Give it up, turkey. Felony!!! Arrest!!! Incarcerate!! I guess they dont, because then they would have to throw Hillary into a jail cell. IF she goes to jail, your ranting will be the reason!!! 😛

Nothing has changed since I last posted:

Trump currently has the advantage because nothing has happened with the protests and violence across the nation to make voters warm up to Biden, and Biden has said nothing to make them warm up.

It will still be all about the last few weeks, but the clock is ticking.

Funny how none of that is showing up in the polls.

The majority of voters have disapproved of Trump for 3 and a half years; this is a re-election campaign, they don't have to "warm up" to Biden.

I wonder how Trump's comment that unjustified police shootings were like missing a three foot putt will play? Even Laura Ingraham seemed stunned that he would say something so stupid but that was only one of the low points. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/09/01/trump-is-too-loony-even-laura-ingraham/

"In the CNN/SSRS poll, voters actually chose Biden over Trump to keep Americans safe from harm by a 6-point margin, and preferred Biden by a 7-point margin on handling the criminal-justice system. That matched a similar finding in this week’s POLITICO/Morning Consult poll, in which more respondents thought Biden would do a better job handling “public safety” than Trump."

"The president trails Biden by 5 points on who would better handle policing and criminal justice in Arizona and Wisconsin, and he leads Biden by just a single point on the issue in North Carolina."

So it means nothing to you that Trump has his own personal attorney by the name of Barr. We already tried impeachment, Trump WAS impeached, but the senate, being nice tame Trumpites did not even want to LOOK at evidence and just rigged the system to make Trump LOOK innocent which he was not. It was just his senate buddies like Moscow Mitch who lost his balls 3 years ago let him off.
So the same thing would happen again no matter WHAT the alleged crime.
And you knew that full well.
