@soothfast saidI know and chicken pox is discriminatory against chickens, yawn.
They advertise the N95 protocol, which is universal and therefore need not address a particular sort of virus.
And your racist asshole "wuflu" crap is tiresome and childish, you scum.

@wajoma saidAgain, you abject ignoramus, even loose-fitting masks protect others, because they capture the bulk of your exhaled moisture droplets right at the source. That's it.
So you will come out and openly admit that unless a specific mask is worn and handled in a specific way = waste of time, more harm than good, false sense of security.
And that conservatively 99.99% of masks as they were used in the last 3 years fall into the waste of time category.
If this hasn't sunk in after 3 years, then I doubt it will ever sink in. You don't want masks to work for ideological reasons, so you will be forever blind to any evidence to the contrary.

@soothfast saidhaha, evidence?? Take it to spirituality noddy, because that's what your evidence amounts to.

@soothfast saidRace card has long ago worn out, try logic and reason. I put the bait there intentionally to give you an 'out'.
I had quite forgotten just how childish you really are. It's coming back to me now, from encounters years ago. It takes the breath away.
An 'I'm so self righteous" out,
@soothfast saidLook there goes soothfast, drving by ;^)

@soothfast saidWe all acknowledge that there are masks out there that are 100% effective, you're simply being disingenuous here (a polite way of saying you're a liar) zeroing in on the title of the thread and misrepresenting it (a polite way of saying you're being dishonest and desperate)
The study makes no conclusion that "face masks don't help and never did" (your title for this thread).
No one is saying masks, all masks 100% don't work. Nor is anyone saying masks, all masks 100% work.
Very disappointing that at this stage you'd even go there, desperation much?
We're not even talking about a mask that has marginal efficiency, that is expensive, that is impractical in most situations, that does not allow you to ingest fluids, (critical to human life and health) without having to be discarded and replaced.
What is being discussed is the overall mask issue of the last 3 years, it's pointlessness, it's ineffectiveness at stopping the spread of wuflu (snicker)
And part of that is showing what happened as a result of mask evangelism, not slippery slope stuff, things that actually happened.

@wajoma saidNo one is supposed to wear a mask 24/7, silly goose. I only wear one for an hour or two when going to certain indoor venues, maybe a couple times a week.

You are absolutely hysterical.
@soothfast saidChildish names (hypocrisy) and more misrepresentation, of course no one said anything about masks 24/7 not even the most devout mask evangelist.

Accuses others of being childish - is childish himself.
Masks were helpful when we needed to slow down the spread to help prevent hospitals from being inundated. Today, they're less important because you may as well let each wave run its course. Though, they are still important in certain settings e.g. hospitals & around people who are immunocompromised.

"The Mask Mandates Did Nothing. Will Any Lessons Be Learned?"

@creastalia saidI found the whole mask thing useful because it showed which people were the decent ones who cared about other people, separating them from the sociopathic types and the irresponsible me-firsts.

@kewpie said"Decent" in your eyes seems to mean nothing more than willingness to virtue signal.
