Gender refers to the expected behaviors and expectations of a male or female. Those factors are influenced to a degree by biology but are largely dictated by society.

For example, the belief women are immoral or "loose" for having multiple sexual partners while men are seen as cool for doing the same. Such expectations have to do with gender, not biological sex.

If a woman identifies more with the cultural aspects of being a man, including the behaviors, style of dress, expected interests, etc., she may see herself more as male than female.

If she wants to wear jeans and Timberland boots instead of dresses and make-up, is that wrong? And if that woman decides she prefers to look and act like most men, is it that much of a stretch to consider her as one?

It is a stretch, because she is a woman?i. If I tell my friends at church tomorrow that I identify with cultural aspects of a woman. (What in the hell,...am I really discussing this tripe..), should they regard me as a woman? Because I act like one?

Don’t get me wrong, she can think about herself anyway she wants, wear boots, but,,,,hey.....I can thinkwhat Averagejoe1 wants to think about this person. Dyke, girl, weirdo, or a beautiful barrel racer notwithstanding. What she thinks of herself has no bearing on me or what I think.
