@no1marauder saidso you are proving republicans were suppressed?
Read the article and stop playing ( or not playing) dumb.
Absentee ballots in Georgia went heavily for Democrats.
@no1marauder saidIDs are free in Texas...hmmm
Easy:
" The study found that five percent of Texans didn't have a form of ID that would allow them to vote under the current law.
"Of those who don't have IDs, minority voters, particularly African-Americans, were less likely to possess a photo ID," Hersh says.
He says that Latinos were less likely to have ID than whites, but more likely than African-Americans to ...[text shortened]... /01/10/261048/researchers-find-african-americans-are-less-likely-than-other-texans-to-have-photo-id/

@dood111 saidWhy don't the libs here simply say,,simply say...."I think it is OK for a person to vote without showing an ID". Why do libs not just say that? can we discuss the underlying reason that libs do not simply say that? Why don't they say that/ What are they afraid of?
Criminals.
@averagejoe1 saidBecause that oversimplifies things. There's context that's needed.
Why don't the libs here simply say...."I think it is OK for a person to vote without showing an ID". Why do libs not just say that?
For example: imagine we discussed abortion and I asked a conservative, "Do you believe it's okay to deny women the right to control their bodies?". Is it fair to demand *only* a yes-or-no answer like you're doing?
You and your conservative buddies deliberately frame voter ID questions in a way that leaves out context, and then complain when context is provided. The reason why "libs" don't just say "OK" to your question is because that oversimplifies voter ID issues in a way that misses the point.
Simply put: it's not the act of presenting an ID that's the problem, it's the motivation (voter suppression) behind requiring them that's the issue. You keep pretending not get that and continually spam the same question over and over.
@dood111 saidFrom your link:
Here's one for all you people that swallowed Biden's lie about Georgia reducing the voting hours:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2021/03/30/biden-falsely-claims-new-georgia-law-ends-voting-hours-early/
Biden may have been briefed on an early version of the bill — “there were 25 versions floating around” — and he did not get an update on the final version.
For instance, at one point lawmakers considered nixing all early voting on Sundays, thus eliminating “souls to the polls,” a get-out-the-vote initiative popular with predominantly Black churches. But that idea was scrapped in the end.
ALL the top dems and pro-Biden media lie. All the time.
Yawn.
You voted for someone with over 30,000 recorded falsehoods while president, including "Lie of the year" by Politico and PolitiFact, more than once.
@vivify saidNaaas, with respect,; “to control their bodies’? Yes, i would have to ask u what you mean. But Note the difference. You say above “Discussed abortion “ thus introducing abortion (impt) before you ask the question of a woman controlling her body. You had to, or i might respond ..”Do you mean controlling her body while snowboarding, or crossing the street? “ You see, my question is straightforward, but you qualify your sentence by prefacing an abortion reference, Vivify. YOUR example, to be genuous, should actually read “Do you think it is OK for a woman to decide to abort her baby?” Like my question , “ Do you think it is OK for people who vote to not be required to present ID?” Apples and apples. 🍎
Because that oversimplifies things. There's context that's needed.

This is the perfect way to compare my question and your question. Again, a clesr yes or no.

@mott-the-hoople saidNo. I'm proving that Republicans are sore losers who realize their only real chance of regaining power is preventing the People from expressing their preferences in free elections.
so you are proving republicans were suppressed?

@mott-the-hoople saidSay what you want; I go in , give my name at the desk and sign my name in a book of registered voters in my precinct.
and I say you are lying!
That's all before I fill out my ballot and enter it in the machine.

@averagejoe1 saidYes, Democrats want every eligible voter to be registered and have a chance to exercise their right to vote.
Turkey.... why don’t YOU admit what is obvious, that the Democrats are doing all in their power to register every of-color person to vote as easily as possile.
Why dont you. And WHY WHY do you scared ninnies not answer Mott’s question? You could outshine Sonhouse!!!
Ninny.
You're against that ..................... why?

@averagejoe1 saidSo you're demonstrating that you understand my point but would rather avoid it by engaging in semantics. You understand my point about the dishonest way you frame your question to pretend you don't know why voter ID laws are considered a bad idea.

@mott-the-hoople saidRepublicans have equal access to mail-in ballots; not all minorities have equal access to IDs, which is why Republicans want to cheat and require them. They know minorities tend to vote against them
so you are proving republicans were suppressed?
