@averagejoe1 saidShut up halfwit you cannot even understand capitalism let alone Das Capital. It’s very honest of you to admit that you find the idea of decent jobs for decent pay abhorrent. Do you go to special Marie Antoinette evening classes?
Posts like this from you and Marauder confirm, without question, Socialism, and to me, Marx. Keep it coming for our entertainment. If you two were coming by for a free turkey dinner, I would lock up my wallet and checkbook. Happy Thanksgiving. ESP the receiving end of the “giving” part.
Really creepy.

@dood111 said...and that means the "big wigs" who just consume what the population is producing I assume?
Jamestown colony early law:
"Jamestown. You must obey this now for a law, that he that will not work shall not eat (except by sickness he be disabled). For the labors of thirty or forty honest and industrious men shall not be consumed to maintain a hundred and fifty idle loiterers."

@zahlanzi saidNo, they have not. If they had you would repeat it in one sentence. What is a safety net. Marauder mentions one but never tells us what it is. I have asked simple questions like who qualifies for the net. What I qualify for the net. Why not. Would I be punished for working harder than others have. You folks do not answer the real questions. You’re all pitiful.
they (whoever they you're referring to) did.
You, as usual, chose to ignore and keep on believing whatever fox news tells you to.

Or i don't feel like explaining something again to someone too lazy to fukin google it and someone who has repeatedly ignored anything we have to say.
I think a better use of my time is to mock your ignorance and malice.
"Marauder mentions one but never tells us what it is"
Because people with a basic education know what it is. And perhaps because he doesn't want to get into a semantic discussion with you. Again.
"I have asked simple questions like who qualifies for the net"
Easy to find information on the internet.
" What I qualify for the net. Why not."
Easy to find information on the internet.
"Would I be punished for working harder than others have."
Taxes are not punishment for working harder.
"Working harder" is not a quantifiable notion. Is a wall street shark working harder than a nurse caring for sick people? Is a CEO of a major corporation working harder than a high school teacher? Should everyone just become wall street brokers and CEOs?
Just because society deems your work to be higher value than someone else's it doesn't mean that someone is working less hard than you. I make more money than a janitor but i need the janitor to keep my office clean. The price i pay for making more than janitors is a higher contribution to society in the form of taxes so that the janitor's children can go to college and perhaps move upwards on the social ladder. The fact that i make more money than a janitor means i get to pay back some of that success (that i wouldn't have had without the janitor) so that when the janitor gets sick, he too gets a hospital bed.
This is a simple explanation that i have given your malicious black heart before. So until next time you whine that nobody explains anything to you and i give you this same explanation again.

Maybe Shav can start one up for this. 😆
@zahlanzi saidI am right to say the Constitution was written to keep government out of the lives of the people. Since liberals try to exercise more government control, mandates, such as that, you can understand why constitutionalist like myself have got to get the message out. So you actually fault me for following the constitution. I consider your comments to be malice towards me, a constitutionalist.Give me liberty or give me death. I win this one.

I might have misspoke by saying those who ‘work harder’, …actually the proper phrase would be those who are successful are being punished. The more we make, the more you want to take away. Bernie, a socialist, once said that successful people need to be limited how much money they can make. I doubt if you agree with that, but whenever I beg for a comment, you never do man up. Do you want to make things difficult.?
In another post, a liberal said that giving money to people is good because it puts the money into the economy when they spend it. I proved him wrong by saying to rob a grocery store through the back door, and then go to the front door and use that money to buy goods in the store. It is the same thing!! I am quite correct about that, his argument,Is false on its face. So therefore give me another win. You fellas take these things so personal. You call me ugly things, which is futile, since we don’t know each other. What a waste.
Marauder has never defined a safety net. So my statement is correct, what are you mad at.
Your other metaphors about the janitor are just part of society. Somebody has to fix my car. I pay him money. Then he starts his own car business. I love this country .I never know what y’all mean when you complain and harp about opportunity here., unless you think everyone should be equal. My point is I don’t understand why you wrote all that. It is life in the capitalistic society.
Y’all have often said that the administration is not socialistic. They have nominated Oramova to head up our banking industry. She wants to nationalize the banking industry. You of all people know that that is socialistic. Therefore y’all have been wrong about Biden not being socialistic. Would you please write back and say I have a point ….another win for me.
I constantly prove things to you Fellers every day, and all I do is catch grief when all I’ve done is state the facts, like the Oramavova mess. Gets tiresome, especially all of the personal ad hominem.
I told y’all that Biden had a 80-car gas guzzling procession to go to a climate control conference. The other members of the conference arrive in 400 private jets. Carbon city. I’ll tell y’all that, but instead of chatting about it, you write venom back and tell me whatever in the hell y’all keep telling me. I just report the news.
Black heart? How so? (oh put me down for another win regarding Biden’s waste of oil for his procession.)

@averagejoe1 said"The savings accounts of poor people"
Most people have retirement accounts, 401ks, pensions. While they sleep, their net worth goes up, as they are making money in their sleep as well? Folks in all walks if life. So, what is your point?
Do you see why I asked the question? Because your post simply states the obvious? That savings Accounts of rich people and poor people return income on a daily basis. So what IS your point?
Some posts just go straight to oblivion right out of the gate.
LOL

@athousandyoung saidWhat do you mean when you say this, though? Cryptic comments get us nowhere. Conservatives truly want to know what the basis is for such comments. There are poor people in this society and rich people in the society. Are you suggesting something different, if so, tell us what it is …..anyone can set up a 401(k). I think I started mine many years ago with $10. That’s what you do. What are we missing here?

@averagejoe1 saidPoor people can't afford to let money sit in a savings account...that's kind of what makes them poor!

You really think these people living in tents on the sidewalk have savings accounts?! LOL!

@dood111 saidNot really relevant but here is a compare/contrast of Jamestown and Plymouth:
Jamestown colony early law:
"Jamestown. You must obey this now for a law, that he that will not work shall not eat (except by sickness he be disabled). For the labors of thirty or forty honest and industrious men shall not be consumed to maintain a hundred and fifty idle loiterers."

@athousandyoung saidI hear you. I get it it, some people are poor. So poor, that I think we should totally support them.

But I get a feeling here that you are trying to get something off your chest, put something on the table beyond that. Can you please elaborate, for discussion

Dood had posted the Jamestown law. That, he who doesn’t work doesn’t eat.
Clear capitalism. Some will be richer, some poorer, than others.
Sorry, but why say they didn’t like capitalists. The non-workers, of course, would prob not like successful workers, who will ‘get ahead’ of the losers.
Understood, but what is your point??

@athousandyoung saidYou remind me of the5th grader Handy Andy. Have you no respect for the concept of debate, nor respect for the wonderful RHP forum? Nor for your fellow debaters, left and right?
Like I already said...capitalism is where rich people get paid for not working.
You see, your bland statement above is so baseless (it is not correct) that your friends like me dont know how to respond. Nor want to. I hate it for you.😒😒
