Vodka Martinis onthe other hand are just smashing 🙂 I too am coming to the end of my tether with these debates. I was full of enthsiasm this morning and now I feel like I've been banging my head against a brick wall all day. 😞

I guess I don't see the point of these debates. dj2becker (oops I mean) "BlindFaith101", RBHILL and the like are trying to accomplish what?

Are they trying to convert us? To what gain? Is there a quota they have to get so they can get into Heaven?

I have no idea, I personally can't conceive of a state where reason is so absent. Well at least not without the aid of hallucinogens. It almost disturbs me to see someone who is so wrapped up in a belief that has no basis in rationality, that they cannot discuss that belief coherrently as its very essence is beyond the bounds of reason. In the same breath I almost admire them for their resistance. Then I remember what I'm discussing and just sigh heavily, very heavily. 😞

Man, I don't know where you guys get your information from, but to set the record straight:

Science says the universe is 12 billion years old (not 15 billon).
So what does that mean? It means nothing... Yup, they claim they can see the expansion of the universe at what is estimated to be 12 billion light years away. I remember a few years ago when the capability of our telescopes could ony see objects at 10 billion light years away - so the general thinking was that the universe was 10 billion years old!

See how absurd it is to draw conclusions on our present-day evidence?
Also, many Jesus freaks (excuse the term) who are also into science calim that "we are ony discovering the methods God used to create the universe"... AND, they claim that "one of God's days could be a billion years for us!"

So believe or don't believe... but don't try to tell others that you can prove anything about God, and/or the finite structure of the universe.

There was a Big Bang, out of the silence of nothing, GOD spoke. There shall be a time to come when clear understanding, will come to how old time is.
