I take part in the Debates forum. Because this site is filled with people who "like to play games", ie, are "child like", I would say that at least 60% are buying into the insanity protrayed by the poll done by Rasmussen.
It is dangerous and "worrisome" to any rational person. Don't you want to know why so many are now totally nuts and unhinged?
I just saw you posting so I jumped in to say 'hi' in my own special way. Sorry if a voice of reason is screwing up what should be a fantastic thread.

And if it is true that you are now a paragon of reason, how are your Yankees doing this year! giggle. sorry. that was cruel.

Arg, yankees suck.
Ok, get your thread back on topic... I'm interested where it's going.

Originally posted by PhlabibitThanks. I'll try, but who knows? This has to be painful for the intelligent and borderline intelligent who find that they have participated in mass insanity. The vast majority of nuts (STANGERS) will not even understand the idea of "brainwashing" as it sounds too much like "hand washing"... which they oppose on philosophical grounds.

This thread will be interesting by measure of the lack of posters if nothing else. But sometimes a pregnant silence screems at ones soul.
If I can get a few people to wonder at the phenomenon then it will have been a good exercise in promoting reason.
Originally posted by StarValleyWyDo you mean like the casual acceptance by the majority that war is the only option to resolve conflict and that 30 odd thousands deaths a day is justified to protect freedom and democracy in the 'free' world?
Doesn't the Germany "group insanity" ring a few bells of alarm now that OUR nation is showing signs of "group insanity"?
There's always a reverse angle and what with the complacency that the Shrubs who hate trees (ie: the Bush's) have shown towards the environment and have made all serve the interests of the Gods of oil is it any wonder that many within America are starting to make their voice heard that the neo con way represents but a small percentage of the body politic.
And if you think this relative of the English Crown is only for American Interests then think again. His most recent foot in mouth comment of the Queen looking at him like a disapproving mother should maybe ring some bells that good 'ol George is doing his bit to bring the once fractious child back to order.
Originally posted by kmax87Yes. Exactly the kind of unhinged insanity portrayed by your post! Excellent.

So you think that W caused... or more specifically "knew about" 911 before it happened? Let's try to stay on topic. Thanks.
(edit) as to the queen bee... we kicked her kind out of our lives two hundred years ago. Caste systems (which she promulgates) are for the trash bin. I can't imagine anything as insulting as having the old biddy in our country. But that's just me.

I don't mean to pick on you, but your post is exactly what I was looking for in this thread. If you don't mind, and if you can, would you mind telling us where you come up with "30 odd thousands deaths a day"?
I have been carefully following the war through the UN databases and am amazed that so few people actually know what has occured and what is occuring today.

I think that you can move this thread forward if you will. I rather think that in the end you will find mr. Soros has gotten to you a bit with his propaganda machine. The more interesting aspect is WHY have you fallen into this trap?

Secondly, can you give examples of Bush destroying the environment? You are a bit vague and intentionally use innuendo so as to avoid a direct statement of fact. So can you just tell us of a few actual laws that he has vetoed? You are aware that only congress can MAKE laws? Search for Bush Vetoes on the internet and find me a sample of Bush destroying earth. Or even show us how he has not put good people into his cabinet to handle earth matters? That would be fair, in context of trying to figure out if you are arguing rationally or have been mindwiped.

I find it both sad and difficult to understand that a man like Bush Snr, who was a well-respected and competent figure, should have such a son.

If you will help us out with this very frustrating phenomenon?
A few examples please. What are you referring to about bush being "uncouth"? and that he can't help it? I didn't watch the miserable queen bee these past few days. Anything specific he did that upset you so?
Give us exact examples of when you first decided that Bush jr. was a devil and his dad a saint.
Are you even aware that you are deranged when it comes to "bushness"? It is facinating to see.

I do not regard Bush Jnr as a devil, nor his father a saint. The contrast is one of behaviour and competence.
For example I cannot imagine the offspring successfully heading up the CIA as did his father, nor being chosen by President Reagan as his.'running mate'. He bumbles and fumbles for words, and gives the impression of being feeble minded every time he appears on TV.
Originally posted by Thales2Why not? See, you are just spewing hate without giving us REASONS why jr. can't do these things.

The point of this thread is in trying to figure out the irrational HATRED of bush jr.
Why do you hate him so? And examples would be good.
Originally posted by StarValleyWyI don't hate him at all. I just think he is not up to scratch as President of a great nation.

This is frustrating. Can you give us information of WHY you think of him this way? Specific examples of his speaches or anything?
What I rather suspect is that you will find that you are indulging in a bit of "group think" inspired by the overpowering need to "fit in". This is not a bad thing, and I'm not attacking you. I am just frustrated that I can never pin down WHY he is hated. Anyway, if you do come up with any specific "bumbles or fumbles", I would really appreciate you sharing them with us.
btw... Where do you weigh in on the question "Bush knew about the attacks before 911?" That would be helpful in helping understand your "Dissatisfaction" with him.
