I see you're from the States, but I'll give this information to the UK smokers out there. A police search is only merited under the PACE Act 1984. Stop and Search is covered under Code A. S. 1.3 of Code A allows a police officer with 'reasonable suspicion' to search for prohibited articles, and stolen and offensive weapons. The laws that our society has developed only seem unjust because you don't agree with them. If you want change, become politically active. Sadly, its difficult to organize pot heads and nobody takes them very seriously when they do manage to form a collective.
Edit: By the way, you look like you might be undergoing chemo for ball cancer on your web page. I suspect its the drugs.

As to your point about the laws in your society upsetting me - they don't. I don't live there anymore. I don't smoke pot - but that's by my own choice, not because of the laws. Some pot-heads are organised though - there are political action groups like NORML who take action.
I am undergoing no such treatment - but you sound familiar with ball cancer. Since I don't take drugs it can't be that - I suspect it's heavy drinking and general slack attitude towards excercise over the last few years. I've seen pictures of you too, and you look like a short dude with a belly who lives in a shack in the woods - that must've made your treatment for ball cancer that much harder to deal with.
