fat? yes sometimes, but not more than here; self-centred? sometimes no doubt, but no more than any other group as far as i've noticed. ignorant? no, but then there's that significant minority i haven't met... impolite? no, i don't know where that comes from - brits are rude, the french are even ruder, americans are generally extremely polite and friendly.
