A few years ago I worked for a large int’l corporation and worked with Americans, Canadians, British, French and Germans. Some I liked, some I could hardly stand, but it had nothing to do with their nationality.

what do you think of these American tradition:

around this week, seniors in High school play a nice little game. Called senior tag. What you do is run around naked with water guns trying to squirt another person - tagging them. Last one standing wins.

And then

by the end of the year, senior prank. Oh I love this one. Seniors in H.School prank the counselors and school custodians, principals. 1 example is last year, each senior set their cell phone alarms to go off at the exact time, and put them in their lockers. Then for 5 minutes alarms were off everywhere

No mate. I live in Herolds bay, George. All the criminals from JHB and Durban comes here to retire. We have the only old age home in the world where they have burglar gates in front of the inernall doors.
I don't even want to comment about the gambling and prostitution problem in our old age homes.
It got so bad last year that the mossel bay Prison organised an outreach program, because the prisoners were complaining that the elderly gives them a bad name.

I don't think Americans are that different to other nations but what I really would like to know is:
What do Americans think about my greatest heroes from America:
Michael Moore and of course Bill Bryson?

Clearly you are of the position that legalising guns in Europe is logical, democratic step for us then?
Stupidest idea I've ever heard...

To be honest I could come up with a lot of negatives but 1 positive would be that they seem to have a "can do" culture. They are more likely to think something new or difficult is possible than the English for example.
