Speaking of wingnuts...did you tighten yours down and get the game working on your PC?

Bump!
I've also made an RHP user map based on Rwing's overhead map.

How do you know if Villa68 and Lexo go in the countries you've indicated? Have you received an updated email from the GM with them in it? I have received nothing.
Originally posted by rwingettOk, they are up in the air... I assumed you put their names in order first, and the regions in order by owner.

I guess I have a 50/50 shot? I'll fix my map when we know for sure, I made the map so I could know at a glance rather than following text.
Is there a chance these won't even be users, like it was too late to change things up after the start?

Originally posted by PhlabibitI think it's too late for them for this week. They'll probably get inserted for next turn. I don't think the GMs work over the weekend.

Originally posted by buffalobillDecent odds? The greater the better. If you want to be sure of winning, don't attack unless it's at least 2:1. But don't forget to take into account the fortification modifiers, if there are any. Those will make the defense considerably stronger.
Wingman
I've trying to get a handle on what are decent odds when attacking. Can you help me understand this?
But those are just my opinions in general. It doesn't mean they're necessarily right. Circumstances may dictate otherwise.
Originally posted by buffalobillI intend to update my map after every turn. You'll see in the upper left corner, it says:
Nicely done. It gives a nice overview of who's got what and where. Would it be possible to update the countries after each round, or would that be too much effort?
Medieval Diplomacy
Turn 1
That will change with every turn, so you'll know if the map has been updated yet or not.
Originally posted by buffalobillThat's an interesting viewpoint. From what I understand, though, isn't it better to stick the units with the most hitpoints up front to absorb the big damage, while keeping everything else back to mop up the remainders?
They're the last in the line but will become involved. I think the trick is to use your more expendable/cheap troops up front. I'm not sure whether it's better to put infantry up front, cavalry second and archers third - or whether to put archers second. I suspect the latter.
