Ah! My first turn went through okay. A satisfactory start.
Would someone mind answering a few questions? There are a number of things I'd like to make sure of.
* Troop garrisons: is there a difference between having men in a garrison and having them in an army, disregarding the fact that armys can move? In other words, are garrisons just a way of ne ...[text shortened]...
I did have more questions, but none are coming to mind now. Expect another post later…
Injured troops have a percentage chance of dying at the end of the battle proportional to the percentage of their HP they lost, I think. If a 2 HP unit takes 1 HP damage and the battle ends, I think that unit has a 50% chance of dying.
Army names are not visible to other players except possibly when they engage in battle and the other person gets a battle report.
In MD2, commoners cannot have any commanders. I don't know about NE but I suspect it's the same.
Spain's a newbie too. Be nice!

Freddie is wrong. If you have the troops in an army set to "enter and defend fortifications" they defend the same as a garrison. The only difference is garrisons can't move and automatically defend inside the fortifications.
As to your other questions:
Troops that were injured during a battle, but then survived the battle, have no adver s.
Only people who have Royalty status can purchase Commanders.
Yes.
Freddie, you drongo!
Originally posted by dylThere's no easy way of checking; but every realm submitted a turn in NE. Spain didn't do much and for so reason Sweden's orders to invade a province went awry, but they did move and build a bit. I hope this continues; play balance gets seriously compromised when some realms don't move at all (as has happened in MD).
Did every kingdom submit a turn? Is there an easy way of checking?
