I am a ham (amateur radio) and was listening to sw broadcast and heard this one: ZINC cures C19. The signal went a bit south before I got the full BS story but there it is.

@kewpie saidI have respected articles to back up my claim. You could have found out yourself with a simple search if you were not so lazy and hasty to dismiss facts.
Don't you just admire all the armchair experts and their magical snake oil?

I am simply giving factual info that the corporate news media does not. Here is another factual bit of information that Grouchy Fauci falsely called a conspiracy theory. Minnesota State Senator and family physician Dr. Scott Jensen is NOT a conspiracy theorist.
People need to stop assuming.
@metal-brain saidI didn't know COVID-19 was around in 2001. My bad.

Some of those theories are truly stupid and include;
"...we do not get sick because of viruses. First, we get sick, and then our bodies produce viruses in response. How so? Our poisoned cells need to get rid of bad DNA, so they expel the bad DNA. That, in Dr. Cowan's universe, is the origin of the virus...."
"..People are dying from fear, not coronavirus. That claim comes from Kelly Brogan, a "holistic psychiatrist" -- whatever that is -- Brogan says that she does not believe in "germ-based contagion," "
And my personal favorite stupid one;
"shoving essential oil up your butt will prevent coronavirus."
I also found this;
"Did Pope Francis Help Cause the Covid-19 Pestilence?"
https://www.elle.com/uk/life-and-culture/a31892113/coronavirus-conspiracy-theories/
"DisneyPlus Released Covid-19 In Time For Its Launch"
"Covid-19 Arrived From Space"
"Covid-19 Is A Marketing Scheme By Hand Sanitiser Companies"
"Russia Have Released Lions To Enforce Social Distancing"
And I guess only some low lifes came up with is one;
"Greta Thunberg Caused Covid-19 To Help With Climate Change"
(Even if she wanted to, how? She's just a kid)
And here is a symptom of utter stupidity for sure;
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/apr/04/uk-phone-masts-attacked-amid-5g-coronavirus-conspiracy-theory
"UK phone masts attacked amid 5G-coronavirus conspiracy theory.
Police investigate possible arson attacks as officials and experts reject rumours that 5G causes Covid-19

No.
"As it turns out, the oxygen family of elements (oxygen, sulfur and selenium) have antiviral effects against most if not all lipid-enveloped viruses."

SARS2 is a lipid-enveloped virus as well. The evidence that selenium is an important defense is strong.

@metal-brain saidWell yes, decent nutrition is an advantage to those exposed to infectious diseases. The question is what use is the information? How the disease progresses depends on several factors: the state of the infected persons immune system, which variant of the ACE2 gene they have, the initial virus load, and the quality of the care they receive if they are severely infected. The horse has bolted as far as the first one's concerned by the time someone's actually showing severe symptoms, nutrition's still relevant, but it's not a cure. We can't do anything about what allele people have. The initial viral load is a big concern for health workers, but aside from them it's a matter of avoiding infection and infecting for everyone else. What care people get is a matter of policy, good luck with that under the Trump administration.
It is a fact. Calling it BS does not make it so.

@sonhouse saidWanna hear something way, way crazier? I have cut and scraped myself at least 50 times, and gotten sick at least 20 times, and miraculously I completely, totally, automatically healed like magic ... and all I did was eat a bunch of regular food, like fruits, veggies, bread ... etc. Pretty wild, huh! Must have been some divine force, or perhaps aliens, or a magic unicorn that healed me! I guess whatever it was, completely defies logic and science, because we all know that the only thing that heals is super-expensive drugs.
