Matthew 19: 16-22
And behold, one came to him and said, Teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17 And he said unto him, Why askest thou me concerning that which is good? One there is who is good: but if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 He saith unto him, Which? And Jesus s ...[text shortened]... n that Jesus was first and foremost concerned with how people treated their fellow man.
makes it absolutly clear.

Mathew 25 : 38 - 25: 46
makes it absolutly clear.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 for I was hungry, and ye gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in;
36 naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee? or athirst, and gave thee drink?
38 And when saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 And when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these my brethren, even these least, ye did it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 for I was hungry, and ye did not give me to eat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink;
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye clothed me not; sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not unto one of these least, ye did it not unto me.
46 And these shall go away into eternal punishment: but the righteous into eternal life.
Lines 40 and 45 are particulary telling. And notice, there is not a single word about "faith" in any of this.

Teach me WHERE Jesus says OUTRIGHT "Don't worry about believing in me, just do good works."
Would you like to see more verses about where He says you MUST believe in Him?
Can you answer my MLK post now, n01 or will you continue to avoid it?

25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy
angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 25:32
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate
them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the
goats: 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the
goats on the left.

A merciful loving God who rewards ALL those who have treated their fellow man with dignity and kindness ain't good enough for ole Darfius and RBHILL; they gotta be one of the special ones that get into the dance club just cause they say so. Losers.
Lmao read who Jesus was speaking of,,, note its everybody not only the already " saved"

That they speak to the darker nature of the human spirit is lost on Darfius and co.

Originally posted by no1marauderI'm sorry, where does it say exactly that good works earns salvation? Until you cite that passage, I'll have to go with where my Lord Jesus CLEARLY said only faith gives you that.

Why do you choose conjecture over fact?
Originally posted by DarfiusIf you can't read please say so; I gave the full passage from Matthew 25. Why does it bother you soooooo much that Jesus says good works toward your fellow man is what's important? Because it makes the religion of Jesus a big tent inclusive one rather than a little private party for your Fundamentalist cult? All you have to do is read Matthew 25 and it's all there for you.

Let's just get that out into the open for all to see, no1.
Originally posted by DarfiusI see no contradiction in Matthew 25, do you? He says those who cared for their fellow man will be given eternal salvation and those who didn't won't. Where's the contradiction besides in your mind?

Originally posted by no1marauderWell, that's your interpretation, but the point is, He says in a lot in the Gospel that ONLY faith in Him can save man. What is your take on this? Contradiction or are you wrong about your INTERPRETATION?
