Over the past nine decades the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee has edified believers in Christ and produced local churches on all six inhabited continents. The ministry of these two servants of God, which is published by Living Stream Ministry (LSM), stands upon the shoulders of the many great Christian teachers of the past to present both the broad span and the spiritual depths of the New Testament truths, particularly from the perspective of the believers knowing and experiencing Christ as their life for the building up of the church as the Body of Christ. The resilience of the churches produced through their ministry is exemplified by the believers in China, who have proven steadfast and have flourished in the face of decades of extreme persecution, as well as by hundreds of local churches in North America that have faithfully persevered and spread despite nearly forty years of intense opposition ...

If I were you, behaving as you are in this thread, I would be ashamed that I was embarrassed either of what I believe, or of what my church believes. Because it is clearly one or the other.
Nice try.
Tell us all about the cult.
“In regard to their teaching and testimony concerning God, the Trinity, the person and work of Christ, the Bible, salvation, and the oneness and unity of the Church, the Body of Christ, we found them to be unequivocally orthodox.”

Furthermore, we found their profession of faith to be consistent with the major creeds, even though their profession is not creedal in format… Consequently, we are easily and comfortably able to receive them as genuine believers and fellow members of the Body of Christ, and we unreservedly recommend that all Christian believers likewise extend to them the right hand of fellowship.”

Tell us all about the cult.
Thanks for asking. At last....
When salvation is inextricably linked to a specific doctrine outside of the fundamentals of Calvary it is cultish.
Your church insists that in order to be saved one MUST accept the trinity doctrine, the triune explanation of the Godhead.
This is what the cults do, and you damn well know it. It’s why you won’t answer my question.
Thanks again for enquiring 🙂
When salvation is inextricably linked to a specific doctrine outside of the fundamentals of Calvary it is cultish.
Where did you get the phrase "the fundamentals of Calvary" ?
Define for us "the fundamentals of Calvary".
And I quote again to your thick-headedness the publications reference to Romans 10:9. If that is not fundamental to being saved I don't know what is.
Get ready to shut your eyes now and stop up your ears. Here it comes again right out of Beliefs and Practices of the Local Churches under "Concerning Salvation"
In order to be saved, one must have a living contact with Jesus Christ. Therefore, in bringing unbelievers to salvation, we emphasize prayer and calling on the name of the Lord. According to Romans 10:9 and 10, if a man is to be saved, he must believe in his heart and confess with his mouth.
Once a person has been saved, he may have both the assurance of salvation and the security of salvation. Once we are saved, we are saved forever.
Sounds like Romans 10:9,10 to me.
Your church insists that in order to be saved one MUST accept the trinity doctrine, the triune explanation of the Godhead.
Shut your eyes and and stop up your ears.
You just read from Fuller Theological Seminary -

That is why in Concerning Salvation you did not READ ...
In order to be saved, one must have a living contact with Jesus Christ. Therefore, in bringing unbelievers to salvation, we emphasize prayer and calling on the name of the Lord.
Rather then what you want to READ INTO the sentence ...
In order to be saved, one must confess a creedal formula about the doctrine of the Trinity. Therefore, in bringing unbelievers to salvation, we emphasize memorization and recitation of creedal formulas on the doctrine of the Trinity.
You want to say our emphasis is on making sure of one's dogmatic adherence to a creed.
They wrote about a "living contact with Jesus Christ" .
According to Romans 10:9 and 10, if a man is to be saved, he must believe in his heart and confess with his mouth.
This is what the cults do, and you damn well know it. It’s why you won’t answer my question.
You won't tell us where you meet.
You won't allow us to examine your congregations Statement of Faith.
You came up with something but did not give credit to the authors.
So, plug up your ears more and shut your eyes again.
Were all allowed a second opinion.
The doctrinal statement of the Local Church and LSM reflects a clear commitment to the fundamental tenets of Christian orthodoxy. In a remarkable spirit of humility, the Local Church has taken great pains to clarify and refine this statement through prayer and conversation with fellow evangelicals. I commend this gracious spirit and urge all true Christians to embrace our brothers and sisters in the Local Church, who share the same faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Indeed, it is incumbent upon all believers to work through misunderstandings and misrepresentations of one another so that that we may serve together as partners in the gospel

Divegeester,
Do you believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and that God raised the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead ?
If you answer Yes then I ask you:
Which one of these two is not God -
1.) The Lord Jesus Christ
2.) The God Who raised the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead?
Which one is not God ?
Rather than a graphic smiley how about a clear answer?
Here you go sonship; you may have missed it the last 8 times I posted it. Read it old chap, refer to it.
Sonship here is a copy/paste from the statement of beliefs from the website of your own church sect:
”In order to be saved, one must have a living faith in the Person and work of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Every genuinely saved one has what the Bible calls the “common faith” (Titus 1:4), which includes what we must believe in order to be saved: we must believe that the Bible is the complete divine revelation wholly inspired by God; that there is a unique Triune God, the Father, the Son, and the Spirit; that Jesus Christ is the Son of God incarnated to be a man; that Christ died on the cross for our sins, shedding His blood for our redemption; that on the third day He was bodily raised from the dead; that He has been exalted to the right hand of God and made the Lord of all; and that He is coming again for His own and to set up His kingdom on earth.”

Btw all you have to do is just ... “say so”
@divegeester
Nice try still.
From website An Open Letter.
There is one God (Deut. 6:4; 1 Cor. 8:4b; Isa. 45:5a), who is triune—the Father, the Son, and the Spirit (Matt. 28:19), co-existing (Matt. 3:16-17; 2 Cor. 13:14) and coinhering (John 14:10-11) in three persons, or hypostases, distinct but never separate, from eternity to eternity;
Christ, the only begotten Son of God (John 1:18; 3:16), even God Himself (John 1:1), became a genuine man through incarnation (John 1:14), having both the divine and human natures (Rom. 9:5; 1 Tim. 2:5), the two natures being combined in one person and being preserved distinctly without confusion or change and without forming a third nature;
Christ died for our sins and was raised bodily from the dead (1 Cor. 15:3-4; Acts 4:10; Rom. 8:34), has been exalted to the right hand of God as Lord of all (Acts 5:31; 10:36), and will return as the Bridegroom for His bride, the church (John 3:29; Rev. 19:7), and as the King of kings to rule over the nations (Rev. 11:15; 19:16);
Which one of these two is not God - Christ at God's right hand or the God at whose right hand Christ is ?
Hone in on these words -
Christ died for our sins and was raised bodily from the dead (1 Cor. 15:3-4; Acts 4:10; Rom. 8:34), has been exalted to the right hand of God as Lord of all (Acts 5:31; 10:36),
Are both God ?
If so then you believe in a "Une" of TWO - Christ at God's right hand and God.
So do you believe in this "Une" or is one of the Two NOT GOD ?
Instead of a graphic smiley show us your answer cult fighter.
@divegeester
I don't know what you're smiling about while you make a fool out of yourself.
”In order to be saved, one must have a living faith in the Person and work of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
If any kind of maneuver in heart or mind is a cause for one to reject a living faith in the Person and work of Jesus Christ, according to this statement, that one is unsaved.
Who knows the deepest condition of a man spirit and heart but that person and God ?
Now go back and answer the post previous to this which you're avoiding (?).
Based upon this:
Christ died for our sins and was raised bodily from the dead (1 Cor. 15:3-4; Acts 4:10; Rom. 8:34), has been exalted to the right hand of God as Lord of all (Acts 5:31; 10:36),
Which One is not God?
1.) Jesus Christ at the right hand of God?
2.) The God at whom Jesus Christ is at His right hand?
And if you loath to admit that you believe BOTH are God then I hate to break it to you, YOU Believe in a "Une" of two - Christ and the God at whom Christ is at His right hand.
If not then tell us which one of the two is not God.
Why are you taking so long to answer?
Are you at a "Dual - Uneness" with Christ being God incarnate and the God at whom Whose right hand He has been exalted bening God ?
If you are at a place of "Dual-uneness" lets see if we can get you to believe in "Tri-uneness" as well.
Christ the Son of God intercedes for the believers (Romans 8:34)
"Christ Jesus who died, who was raised, who is even at the right hand of God, who INTERCEDES for us. (Rom. 8:34)
And the Holy Spirit ALSO intercedes in and for the Christians (in the same chapter).
"And in like manner the Spirit ALSO joins in to help us in our weakness; for we do not know for what we should pray as is fitting, but the Spirit Himself INTERCEDES for us ..." (Rom. 8:26)
Which one is NOT God?
1.) The Son of God Who is interceding ?
2.) The Holy Spirit Who is ALSO interceding ?
Which one of these two is not God ?

Please help me, does this mean that as I reject the teaching that God is Truine that I cannot be saved. Yes or No?
Thank you.
Please help me, don’t this mean that as I reject the teaching that God is Truine that I cannot be saved. Yes or No?
You are not receiving my attempt to help you see where you are.
I don't know where you are. To bring out into the light where you are you are avoiding.
So again:
That if you confess with your mouth, Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. (Romans 10:9)
Is the Lord Jesus God?
Is the God who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead, God?
Which one is not God if believe one of the two is not God?
If you answer both are God then you do believe in "the unique Triune God. " You have to admit that there is no other like this Father and Son - Isn't this God unique ?
