@sonship

You are not receiving my attempt to help you see where you are.

I know exactly where I am, independent freethinking Christian. And exactly where you are, in a cult. The Local Church is a cult sonship.

Not one single Christian here will support the piece of your church statement.

Here you go sonship; you may have missed it the last 8 times I posted it. Read it old chap, refer to it.

Sonship here is a copy/paste from the statement of beliefs from the website of your own church sect:

”In order to be saved, one must have a living faith in the Person and work of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Every genuinely saved one has what the Bible calls ...[text shortened]... His own and to set up His kingdom on earth.”

https://www.localchurches.org/beliefs/salvation/
Is there any Christian in this forum who will unequivocally support the section of the statement of belief of the Local Churches as detailed in my OP?

Anyone...

I further sought to let you see where you stand in the common faith by writing:

And the Holy Spirit ALSO intercedes in and for the Christians (in the same chapter).

"And in like manner the Spirit ALSO joins in to help us in our weakness; for we do not know for what we should pray as is fitting, but the Spirit Himself INTERCEDES for us ..." (Rom. 8:26)

Which one is NOT God?

1.) The Son of God Who is interceding ?
2.) The Holy Spirit Who is ALSO interceding ?

Which one of these two is not God ?

Do you answer that One of these three is not God?

1.) God Who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead.
2.) The Lord Jesus Who intercedes for the Christians.
3.) The Holy Spirit Who also intercedes for the Christians.

If you believe like me that all three are God and there is one God then you believe in the unique Triune God.

If you have received this unique Triune God into your being then you cannot BUT be a member of the universal church.

But what if I reject the idea, the teaching the doctrine of the claimed “unique Triune God” am I precluded from being saved.

Yes or No?

If I recall rightly, I think someone said they had no problem with it.

I would have to read through the whole collection of posts to find it.

I think you are incorrect. But now is the time for you to define what a cult is. Do you have something more specific than some group you don't like?

It’s the most simplest of questions. Am I in or out of salvation if I reject your particular teaching.

If the answer is “out of salvation” then you are in a cult sonship.

@divegeester

Sonship if me not believing in the trinity doctrine will not preclude me in any way from being saved, all you have to do is, simply say so.

Here we go again.
The phrase "Trinity doctrine" is not in that paragraph.

Do you believe that the Lord Jesus is God?
Do you believe that the God Who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead is God?

Do you confess with your mouth Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised the Lord Jesus from the dead?

It seems to me that being saved puts you in the universal church.

Which one do you not believe is God - the Lord Jesus Who was raised from the dead, OR the God Who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead?

Which one can you not come to believe is God ?

Divegeester?

Church to Divegeester - COME IN!

How many Gods does the Bible say there are?
Does it teach there is ONE God or more than one God?

If one God then which is not God.

1.) the Lord Jesus Who was raised from the dead or
2.) the God Who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead?

I reject the teaching that God is “Triune”.

But you won't answer when I ask you WHICH is not God:

1.) The Lord Jesus Who intercedes and Who was raised from the dead.

2.) The Holy Spirit Who also intercedes for the believers.

3.) The God Who knows what is the mind of the Spirit and the God Who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead.

Which one is not God ?

If all three are God then you believe in the unique three - one God - God.

If you've received Him then how can you NOT be a member of the church universal ?
