@pb1022 saidNo actually, I see great similarities between the Phairsees and you church Christians. You both think you are better than the rest of the world. Youall get eternal life while we get hellfire.
And why didn’t they keep the commandments that Jesus introduced? Because they lacked mercy and compassion and had hearts of stone. They were legalistic in the extreme. You don’t see yourself in them?
What would you have done to the woman caught in adultery in John 8? The Law said she should be stoned. Would you have stoned her?
I would have done and said exactly like Jesus
And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. (John 8:11 KJV)
But Church Christians would say:
Hey, they did nt stone you? Cool. Just come to church next Sunday, profess your faith in Christ, and you will go to heaven. Not to worry about that adultery thing, all your sins are forgiven... you carry on as usual Guaranteed. And dont forget the pastor needs 10 % of your monthly salary. he is looking to get a villa on the beach in Hawaii .. you know, to go preach to the natives down there. See ya on Sunday. Dont make us come looking for you now.
@rajk999 saidYou seem to have a real hatred for the church and anyone who goes to a church, and you have these wild fantasies about what pastors are preaching that are not at all based in reality.

You present God as constantly judging and condemning His children, you badmouth the church and discourage people from going there, you discourage people from worshipping God, I never hear you talk about praying - in fact, I suspect you condemn that as “mouth worship.” You ridicule the power of the Holy Spirit, you say - falsely - people don’t need to believe in Jesus Christ to have eternal life.
It’s all Old Testament with you.
And *you’re* the one who thinks he’s better than everyone else because you’re constantly condemning other posters, calling them stupid, condemning people for going to church, etc.
@pb1022 saidI acknowledge that Jesus is the judge, and the idea you have that all Christians sins are forgiven is a false doctrine.
You think Christians are expected to keep the commandments to perfection?
Do you acknowledge that living a life of sin and occasionally sinning are two different things?
@pb1022 saidThe fact that I disagree with your doctrine and that it is false does not imply hatred at all. I pity your ignorance and your failure to see and to believe the truth as preached by Christ.

@rajk999 saidYou didn’t answer the questions:
I acknowledge that Jesus is the judge, and the idea you have that all Christians sins are forgiven is a false doctrine.

@rajk999 saidYour name calling and condemning are what’s hatred. You condemn people to hell on here as though you’re God. It’s really pretty sad.

And you drive people away from God by claiming He’s constantly judging and condemning His children, and you strongly imply He expects perfectly sinless lives or we’re going to hell. You have no mercy, compassion or love in you.
You’ll answer for all this someday and you won’t like it.
@pb1022 saidSuch threats are not becoming of a Christian.
You’ll answer for all this someday and you won’t like it.
Have you been transformed by the Holy Spirit or haven't you? Which part of 'go and sin no more' eludes you? What message are 'you' sending out to non-believers? Where is the evidence of the divine change inside of you?
"And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” (2 Corinthians 3:17)
@pb1022 saidI think your conscience is starting to bother you. If I have quoted the Gospel Message of Christ and you do not like it then you have some work to do on yourself. It is Jesus that saves people or condemn them to hell, not me. Im just the messenger. Dont shoot me.

I know that there are some people [I think its a certain personality type that is like that], they rather hear lies that make them happy than the truth that hurts but which will set them free. Right now you are shackled to the lies of the church who has deceived you.
It is better you know the truth now than when Jesus returns, when its too late. You will thank me one day and/or you will remember what I said.....
I think Im done. Im going to read some of the old pseudo-graphical wirings of the Jews and post some interesting stuff that is written in there in the thread 'Tales from the Apocrypha'.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidWasn’t a threat at all. I have no power to make rajk999 answer for anything; if I did, it’d be a threat. But since I don’t, it’s simply my opinion.
Such threats are not becoming of a Christian.

Which part of “Neither do I condemn you” do you not understand? The gift of no condemnation is what empowers someone to break free from the power of sin.
“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”
(Romans 6:14)
rajk999 condemns people to hell, insults them and calls them names on a pretty frequent basis on here. Does that bother you? Why not?
As I said previously, that wasn’t a threat; it was simply my opinion.
And you nothing of what I do and have done in the real world.
@rajk999 saidYou may be a messenger but I don’t think you’re delivering the message of the Gospel.

Jesus Christ wasn’t about judging and condemning. He was about mercy and forgiveness.
Your biggest stumbling block is you think someone will only do good works and do their best to keep the commandments if they have the threat of hell hanging over them. That’s not the Gospel.
@PB1022
It is ironic that Rajk999 constantly berates Christians gathering together as churches for better or for worse. He loves to refer to "sin[ning] willfully" from Hebrews 10:26. Somehow it fails to catch his eye that the immediately preceding verse is a call for Christians not to forsake assembling together.
"Not abandoning our assembling together, as the custom with some is . . . For if we sin willfully . . . etc. etc." (See Heb. 10:25,26)
Not believing Jesus is his Lord, (at least not clearly confessing so),
not assembling with believers that Jesus is Lord,
and accusing continuously assemblies of Christians seems to be his custom
here.
Rajk999 seeks to draw all the oxygen out of the room here and constantly be the center of anything pertaining to the Gospel of Christ. He will suck up all your time and attention here if he can.
