Not true; I'm telling you we can experience God in our lives, not as a mental
acknowledgment of something supernatural but as an abiding life of God in us. If all
you ever do is speculate, that is all you ever do.
I am fully aware of what you have faith in [the "abiding life of God in us" etc. etc.]. I am also fully aware of the life-changing inspiration and strength and purpose that people can draw from their faith.

Totally lost heart to participate in my own thread.

Same old critics again.

But you deny that it is real, not something real happening in us from the outside of us coming in, do you not?

I'm not sure what you are getting at. Neither of us know what the origin of the universe is. The fact that you promote your belief in a "supernatural beginning" does not alter this, nor does it place any onus on me to pretend that we DO know or to offer a hypothesis that competes with yours.
You can ignore the questions while at the same time deny the possibility. It is not until you grapple with it does it rate an answer, or worse the reality becomes a reality that is unavoidable.

Yes, and the context is?

It felt real to me back then, and impacted me in real ways, just as it feels real to you now and impacts you in real ways.

But I don't "deny the possibility".

Gosh, KellyJay, haven't you read any of my posts over the last decade?

No matter how much you or I grapple with it, neither of us knows what the origin of the universe was. You can speculate all you want about "an answer". Same goes for what you call the "reality that is unavoidable".

Maybe start a blog elsewhere, where you can post without disagreement or challenge.

Just a thought.

Maybe, I'd like to disagree with someone new for a change? You think?

Same old knee jerk reactionary critics. LIke YOU and FMF long since gotten OLD.

Don't lie on me like I don't deal with counter arguments.
