Hebrews 11:1 STILL says - Now faith is the substantiation of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Was I suppose to search for it out in the parking lot?

I said some NEW voices would have been nice.
That's all.

However, this Forum is not defined by perpetual tit for tat with you FMF.
"Substantiation" will do fine for Hebrews 11:1.
Other English renderings equivalent, like, substance, or conviction will do also.
Fortunately, the point is not located in only ONE place in the NT.

There are 28 different translations of Hebrews 1:11 here https://biblehub.com/hebrews/11-1.htm Where is the word SUBSTANTIATION?
We all should know there are different translation in English of the New Testament.
And that is only ONE language.
The point is you have to have this supernatural faith to come forward to God.
I think God established that matter so that NO ONE CAN BOAST.
There is nothing left for man to brag about.
" But without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to Him, for he who comes forward to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." (Heb. 11:6)
Without this gift of faith is is impossible to be well pleasing to God.
He has seen to it that when you touch Him there is absolutely nothing left for you to brag about in yourself, in myself, in anyone.
Ie. "You're not going to touch Me without this faith. "
We'll look at "Abraham, the father of faith" to get the picture.

I consider it a miracle that I actually believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
I have said this before in this Forum - In myself I have no more faith than ANYONE else. I can only DOUBT within myself. I don't have it in myself to believe in the Son of God.
I consider it a gift - a miracle- a supernatural event that I am a believer in the Lord Jesus.

Genuine FAITH leaves NOTHING for man to boast about in himself.
That is the faith in the Bible.
That is the faith according to the Bible.
You come to God.
You enjoy God as reality.
You have nothing in yourself to point to as YOUR accompishment out of your own power.
But without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to Him, for he who comes forward to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
I have no more faith than Ghost of Duke or VoidSpirit. (remember him)
However, I do know WHERE to go to GET faith - the word of God.
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

I find the word SUBSTANTIATION in this book: The Holy Word for Morning Revival - God’s Economy in Faith By Witness Lee
Selections of ministry by Nee and Lee is the usual contents of Holy Word for Morning Revival booklets.
The Recovery Version follows somewhat J N Darby's New Translation on this (Heb. 11:1)

The first edition called "the gold bar" had it this way -
"Now faith is the substantiating of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."
Translators of Bibles are allowed to make revised editions.

The faith that I am talking about is what God infuses into us that we may come forward to God.
I don't think we have this product in ourselves. Paul even said "Not all have faith."
3 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed on and triumph, as it did among you, 2 and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men; for not all have faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from evil.[a] (2 Thess. 1:1-3)
