@rajk999 saidYou can not sow to the Spirit of God without God’s Spirit. If you don’t have God’s Spirit you are not His.
Sowing to the flesh is about living in sin and evil, and refer to those who disobey th commandments.
Sowing to the Spirit is about righteousness, good works, and keeping the commandments
It has not one single thing to do with faith.
@fmf saidAll people who exhibit the fruit of the Spirit, have Gods Spirit
Do any non-Christians "have God’s Spirit"?
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth) (Ephesians 5:9 KJV)
ALL, anything that is good, righteous and truthful, that is the working of the Spirit of God. Christians can profess to have Gods Spirit but that does not mean that they actually have any such thing. All they have is faith. Faith without righteousness and goodness is nothing.
A man can profess nothing and still have goodness, righteousness and truth. He has Gods Spirit.
@rajk999 saidThey were not murdering thieves as church teachings proclaim, and which you also stupidly believe like KD.
They were not murdering thieves as church teachings proclaim, and which you also stupidly believe like KD. They acted contrary to the Law of Moses. In those days a disobedient child could be executed. Jesus in his wisdom knew which one deserves eternal life, and it was the one who lived like the Good Samaritan. there is no conflict with the biblical text. The conflict is w ...[text shortened]... t right in your head, and the wise man will stay very far from your church if he wants eternal life.
Historical non-Christian records say that they were robbers. In that day and culture, robbers brutally held people and caravans up, and took everything their victims owned along travel routes. They often murdered their victims, seeing that if they were caught, they would be Crucified.
They acted contrary to the Law of Moses.
The Romans ran the show then dummy, they didn't give a damn about the "Law of Moses;" and, they sure were not going to put someone to death over it. Duh!
The only reason the Romans put Jesus to death, was because many Jews were on the verge of rioting; and the Roman authority wanted to prevent a riot. It's all in the Bible that you claim to know so well.

@kingdavid403 saidNo probs. Lets move along. What is you opinion on this matter. FMF asked
Good idea. Thanks.

Do you have an opinion here ?
@rajk999 saidYes, we are all made in the Image of God; and, His laws of love are written on ALL of our hearts from birth. It's our choice to follow them or not.

@kingdavid403 saidSo just to be clear, the answer to FMFs question is that a non Christian can also have the Spirit of God.
Yes, we are all made in the Image of God; and, His laws of love are written on ALL of our hearts from birth. It's our choice to follow them or not.
@rajk999 saidYes, we ALL have at least a seed of the Spirit of God in us. I kind of look at God's Holy Spirit as a Flame of fire.

You can have a small flame; or, a huge fire, and everything in-between is possible. For me, my flame never seems to remain constant; it's always changing. I think that is what keeps us spiritually growing, in one way or another.

@kingdavid403 saidSo to use your terms, a Christians 'flame' can be smaller than a non Christians fire. I would think it all depends on how well they follow after ..... goodness and righteousness and truth) (Ephesians 5:9 KJV) .

Is that possible?
@rajk999 saidYes, of course.

[Matthew 12:20-21 RSV] 20 he will not break a bruised reed or quench a smoldering wick, until He brings justice to victory; 21 and in His name will the Gentiles hope."
Unless you're Jewish, you're a Gentile; like me. 🙂

@kingdavid403 saidOk, so what is your take on the claim some Christians make that they will get eternal life no matter what kind of 'flame' they have or even if they have no flame and live in sin.
Yes, of course.
