What you said was: "Jesus is a mighty God" and "Jehovah is Almighty God".
You also said: "it is the Bible that states there are two Gods not me [yourself]"
So, are there 2 Gods. Yes or No?
Isaiah 9:6 about Jesus:
Good News Translation (GNT)
6 A child is born to us!
A son is given to us!
And he will be our ruler.
He will be called,
Wonderful Counselor
Mighty God,
Eternal Father,
Prince of Peace.
Revelation 16:14 about Jehovah.
Good News Translation (GNT)
14 They are the spirits of demons that perform miracles. These three spirits go out to all the kings of the world, to bring them together for the battle on the great Day of Almighty God.

Originally posted by galveston75What would be interesting to me would be for you to state unequivocally whether you think that Jesus is a "Mighty God". The two Jehovah's Witnesses I knew in Japan were at pains to say that this was not so; it came up almost every time we talked. I'd be interested to hear if this is a doctrinal issue that is left to each individual's interpretation and conscience in your group.
I asked you the question......is he called a god or not in your bible?

What about this scripture do you not get?????????????????
Originally posted by galveston75The Bible translations I use call Jesus son of man, Son of God, the expressed image of God in the flesh, the fullness of the Godhead in bodily form, and even our great God and Savior and Lord. But none of them say Jesus is a god. I know the translators of the NWT produced by the Watchtower claim that John 1:1 should be translated "a god" because of the absence of a definite article. However, such a translation is rejected by the majority of scholars of the Greek text. And such a translation contradicts other portions of the Holy Bible.
I asked you the question......is he called a god or not in your bible?

Isaiah 9:6
King James Version (KJV)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
6 For a Child hath been born to us, A Son hath been given to us, And the princely power is on his shoulder, And He doth call his name Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace.
In fact all that I look at do.
But lets make this as clear as one possibly can. Jesus is referred to as A god....but NOT Almighty God, ever.
And this Mighty God title he has been given never is one that we ever worship. Jesus himself said it is only his Father, Jehovah that is to be worshipped.
And no where does it ever say we are to worship the holy Spirit.
According to the Trinity Dogma, all are equl, all knowing, all powerful, etc, etc.
So a trinitarian should be worshipping them all if they are truly one in the same and all equal. No where in the Bible are we told to ever worship all three.
Again Jesus clearly said we are not to worship him BUT ONLY his Father.
So how do you pray? Who exactly do you pray to? One of them? Two of them or all three?
Another trinity mystery..............
