@secondson saidYou have already told us that you are the “spiritual muscle” in your local church but that you are not invited to teach. One wonders what the former term means, but fully understands the reasons for the latter.
God describes you as a fool. And if you had an open mind you'd try to find out why.
I, on the other hand, refrain from making a self-diagnosis and labeling myself anything. Doing so has a ring of arrogance to it.
Instead I see myself as what God says I am. I'm alive because someone greater than me has caused it, and only the truly open minded can comprehend and understand that concept.
@secondson saidIs it your understanding that “open-mindedness” is necessary for a person to find credibility in Jesus?
Of course not. You're far too open minded for that.
@secondson saidConversely with ridged boundaries a mind is closed to ideas and becomes stuck in a paradigm of its age.
Without "boundaries" an "open mind" is in chaos.
@secondson saidIt is clear to see why you are not permitted to teach in your church.
God describes you as a fool. And if you had an open mind you'd try to find out why.
@secondson saidSpeaking of dodging, I’m still waiting for you to come up with your promised “considered balanced response” in my other thread. You were popping of to a wedding at the time.
I guess dodging is an expression of an open mind.
@secondson said"Discussion closed"?
And there it is. The open minded one has declared the discussion closed.
I guess dodging is an expression of an open mind.
I've addressed 20-25 posts to you since you posted something 4 pages ago that didn't really ask me or propose anything.
How is the "discussion closed"? How am I "dodging"?
@fmf said"Rabbit hole"?
You're going down a rabbit hole as far as I am concerned if you are going to insist that Christianity is not a religion. Yes, I get it: you are very, very, very certain that your religion is right, and all the other religions are wrong. I get that that's what you believe.
This is odd, but understandable, since it's a pattern that's been followed by you and divegeester before.
Divegeester starts a thread, makes an opening post, and disappears for five pages and two days while you drag the discussion down rabbit holes and into tangents of meaningless blabbering assertions designed to derail discussion.
Next time it'll be your turn to start a thread, and divegeester will do the same as you did here.
@secondson saidYes. The old "Christianity is not a religion" chestnut is a dud. You should save it for when you are preaching to the choir.
"Rabbit hole"?
@secondson saidI think my contributions to this thread have been OK and not "meaningless" at all.
Divegeester starts a thread, makes an opening post, and disappears for five pages and two days while you drag the discussion down rabbit holes and into tangents of meaningless blabbering assertions designed to derail discussion.
@divegeester saidSo you show up on page eight?
You have already told us that you are the “spiritual muscle” in your local church but that you are not invited to teach. One wonders what the former term means, but fully understands the reasons for the latter.
How about replying to the post I made to your OP at the bottom of page one before you jump in with your muscle mouth criticisms and mischaracterization of another's intent and jabbering on about things you know nothing about?
@secondson saidYou actually believe it's ME who has been trolling YOU these last 4-5 pages?
@SecondSon
The tag team trolls are here and loaded for bear.
@secondson saidYour post on page one did not invite reply neither explicitly nor implicitly.

I think my comments about your behaviour in this forum are actually quite on point.
