You ought to do some research on them before you so flippantly dismiss them. Patients who experienced this knew things about the operation and what the surgeons did, including what was happening outside the operating room, that they could not possibly have known if their spirit had not left their body.

<If the people didn't die, then they didn't die.>
You don’t believe objective standards exist to determine death?

That’s totally non-responsive to what I wrote and you couldn’t divest me of my faith if you wanted to.

That does seem to be a standard line you resort to when you’re in a pickle.

Originally posted by @romans1009I think I have answered this. The declaration of death is premature if it turns out the person is not dead.

And NDEs are at most an interesting anomaly to me. My faith would be just as strong if NDEs did not exist and hadn’t occurred.

Oh. So we’re back to this now. I guess you really are in a pickle.
Originally posted by @fmfWith all due respect, that’s a ridiculous position. You’re defining death as being dead. It’s absurd.
I think I have answered this. The declaration of death is premature if it turns out the person is not dead.
Objective standards exist to determine clinical death and biological death. If those standards/criteria are met and the person becomes alive again, he or she was dead.
Originally posted by @fmfSorry I have never used the word 'pickle' before. You are such a liar. Or maybe you just hallucinate.
