No way, you need to be one of the special ones to use the New World Translation of the
Holy Scriptures (peace be upon it), mere mortals should not use it, its too powerful!

When I studied for awhile with the JWs one of them gave me a NWT.
After I seeing all the changes they made, I decided to stick with my KJV
and I threw the NWT in the trash. I now use mainly the NASB.

so what? at very least you could have returned it to those who gave it to you, freely,
without charge. As for King James, well, that about sums it up for me, a translation
made in the 1600s, for persons with beliefs stemming from the same period. It nice to
know that there are over four hundred archaic words that are no longer in use and not
to mention mythical creatures like unicorns, but hey, nice to see your prejudice never
let you get over that.

a real laugh at this, Holy Holy Holy means that there is three aspects to Gods
personality, mhuhaha!, you have really got to be kidding, no?

The verse in question is a direct quotation from Isaiah 6:3 and is clearly a reference
to Jehovah, not the Holy Spirit and not Jesus Christ.

(Isaiah 6:3) And this one called to that one and said: “Holy, holy, holy is Jehovah of
armies. The fullness of all the earth is his glory. . .

Indeed what is more it is clear the term, even in Revelation is used solely for the
Almighty, so why are you dishonestly trying to assert that it is with reference to
anyone else. I find that action utterly scurrilous and reprehensible. Christ is never
termed the almighty, not not once! the Holy spirit is never termed the Almighty, no
not once!

(Revelation 4:8) . . .And they have no rest day and night as they say: “Holy, holy,
holy is Jehovah God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is coming.”

Further to this, in Hebrew, it is a quality, HOLY, HOLY, HOLY literally 'qadhohsh,
qadhohsh', qadhohsh' in Hebrew means holiness, cleanness, purity and sacredness
to the superlative degree. You are clearly misrepresenting the text, but that is no
surprise because it is well known that your translators have systematically removed
any vestiges to the Almighty and substituted inane terms making it impossible for
you to tell the difference, but you like it that way, for by the ambiguity created, you
can substantiate your pagan doctrines.

Al one needs to do is ask themselves how many persons did Isaiah think of when he
thought of God, one, why did he state Holy Holy Holy three times, for emphasis, not
because of some pagan doctrine.

It is God who said we would do it. If you complain that it is too emotional you have to blame that on God.

Do you have something against our God created emotions ?

These JWs have various excuses for not wanting to confess Jesus is Lord. And you have your excuses too.

It doesn't matter that Jesus said we should love the Lord our God with our whole heart. You'e one great big cerebrum and to love God with the emotions is beneath you. Those who love God with their whole heart you call mental.

But God has not given us a spirit of cowardice but of " love and power and of a sober mind."

Love - Power - a SOBER mind.
Love is of the emotion.
Power is of the will.
And a sober mind of course is of the mentality, the mind.

So we lovers of Christ love Him with our whole being. It is not just our cerebrum that is involved.

And I cut to the chase when JWs come to the door to see if they will willingly and voluntarily openly confess Jesus as Lord on thier knees as it is inivitable that every creature will do.

If the statement is meant to be taken literally, how is it that those persons under the
ground, do it? How is it those spiritual creatures in heaven do it? do they also have
knees, with which to bend?

(Philippians 2:10-11) . . .so that in the name of Jesus every knee should bend of
those in heaven and those on earth and those under the ground,  and every tongue
should openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

Indeed, when one actually looks at the details of the scripture it is evidently clear
that it is in the sense of acknowledging the position of the Christ as King of Gods
Kingdom, not literally bending down on ones knee as you have erroneously tried to
assert. What is more i think its simply an excuse on your part Jaywill in order to
avoid having to reason. I suspect that those persons who are confronted with your
request refrain, not only because its a little freaky, but that it could be construed as
an act of interfaith, of which we will have nothing to do, perhaps this thought never
crossed your mind.

Even though the KJV was translated many years ago, it still is a
very good and literal translation. There are some errors, like
using the name Easter for Passover in one case, which was because
they thought that Easter had replaced Passover after the resurrection
of Jesus the Christ. But using the name Jesus, when the text was
referring to Joshua of the Old Testament, is not technically an error
because the names were really the same name. In another case
they used the word "was" instead of "became" which made the
meaning of the text not quite as clear as it could have been. But
in most cases it does a better job of conveying the true meaning than
many of the newer translations today. Using the Old Enlish words,
like "Thee, Thy, Thine, and Thou" bothered many so the translator of
the NKJV attempted to update it and correct what errors that they new.
So today I like the NKJV and the NASB the best of all because they
are more literal translations of the text. Many others are the type of
translation called "paraphrase", which gives what the translator thinks
the text means.

Why would I return a translation that has been deliberately changed to
distort the word of God and present the view of a different God?
They would give it to someone else that might be deceived by it.

what a piece of nonsense, I know where my translation came from, i know which
documents were utilised in its translation, what is more i resent your hypocrisy in
stating that one translation is better, despite its archaic language and gross errors.
Perhaps you can name one instance where we have deliberately changed the text
without reference to a piece of papyri, a codex or any other manuscript for that
matter, because i can assure you, where the reference for that verse came from. I
doubt you could even name one reference for any verse that i cited from those inane
and dubious translations that you are advocating. Look how you tried to fob us off
with dishonest reasoning with the term, Holy Holy Holy, does your shame know no
bounds?

Islam teaches that there is only one God and His name is Alla.
They teach that God has no Son, that Jesus was a prophet, and
that Mohammed is God's greatest prophet.

Christianity teaches that there is only one God consisting of three
persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and God has
been known by many names. They teach God has only one
begotten Son, Jesus the savior of the world. Christianity
teaches Jesus is not only a prophet, but also, a priest, a king,
and the Son of God, being both fully man and fully God.

What is the Jehovah's Witnessess definition of God in comparison
to the above religious beliefs?
