No you wouldn't and the reason is the trinity. It's why you refuse even with all the proof that Jehovah is God's name. With God having a name it starts to make the trinity hard to prove in your eyes.
Just simply explain to me why this 3 in 1 God has the name Jesus, Jehovah/YHWH/JHVH or what ever you'll accept, and the other part of God has no name? Not a title ( Lord ) but a name.
Just answer this one question without going off in some other direction....

See...I knew you wouldn't answer the question. You seem to have a really hard time proving your beliefs from the Bible. Must be because there not.... Does that not bother you?

Psalm 83:18 (King James Version)
18That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

Psalm 83:18 (American Standard Version)
18 That they may know that thou alone, whose name is Jehovah, Art the Most High over all the earth.

Psalm 83:18 (Young's Literal Translation)
18And they know that Thou -- (Thy name [is] Jehovah -- by Thyself,) [Art] the Most High over all the earth!

Psalm 83:18 (Darby Translation)
18That they may know that thou alone, whose name is Jehovah, art the Most High over all the earth.

Psalm 83:18 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)
18 May they know that You alone—
whose name is Yahweh—
are the Most High over all the earth. (A)

Why would these Bibles use the name JEHOVAH & YAHWEH if it was not accepted by most? You probably won't answer but I have to try.

The doctrine of "Trinity" is pagan in origin and error; there is one God who is made manifest in Jesus/Yeshua. God has many names but the given name human beings should recognise under the new covenant is Jesus/Yeshua:

Acts 4:12: "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved."

Matt 29:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name (singular) of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. These are titles not names! Jesus/Yeshua is the current given name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit.

Note that the disciples ALWAYS baptised in the name of Jesus/Yeshua despite this apparent command to baptise in the "The name of the Father, Son & Holy Ghost - why would this be? It is because Jesus/Yeshua IS the name (singular) of the Father AND of the son AND of the Holy Spirit.

The office of sonship is not eternal, you will never see the phrase "the eternal son" anywhere in the bible. It is an office of salvation whereby the Almighty has "laid bare his right arm" to become a veil of mortal flesh and reconcile all things to himself.

The revelation of who Jesus/Yeshua is is the most important communion with God a person can have. The mystery of God in Christ, the Almighty in the lowly the immortal within the mortal. The same deity of the old testament and of the new testament - one God one person one spirit - many manifestations.

yet still I am correct when I say that you do not conclusively know that Jehovah is God's correct name, but it is more likely that it isn't. It is an anglicized version of a word we are not even sure of. Your stance on this is laughable.

please do yourself a favor and re-read the entire thread, you will see where even RC admits that I am essentially right, further argumentation on your part is just silly.

muhaha, i admit nothing of the sort dear duecer. you stated that Jehovah cannot be the correct pronunciation because ancient Hebrew had a Y sound, like huh? That is not to say of course that had the ancient Hebrews spoken, not Hebrew but English, they would have pronounced Gods name even as we do, Jehovah, not with a Y, but with a J.

You cannot state that we do not have the correct pronunciation for our language, that is the real crux of the matter!

Ones who can't back up or explain with simple scriptures why they believe as they do, always revert to silly name calling. Why is that?
