@kellyjay saidGo on then kellyjay, show me in your next post how you will discuss the topic of “truth” in such a way that you don’t express your opinion on it.
The topics not ourselves should be discussed, when we turn the topic to ourselves we change the topic from truth, to opinions. Disagreeing opinions can only be resolved when truth is realized.
@divegeester saidOpinions not truth again so say you!
Go on then kellyjay, show me in your next post how you will discuss the topic of “truth” in such a way that you don’t express your opinion on it.
@divegeester saidTruth does not contradict itself, at any time, anywhere, it is always truth.
Don’t run away from the challenge!
You keep wittering on about not talking about ourselves, so show me… in your next post how you will discuss the topic of “truth” in such a way that you don’t express your opinion on it.
@fmf saidYou keep wanting to talk about my beliefs, as I pointed out to you, you spend more
Do you really think that assertions like this somehow bolster the objectivity of your personal beliefs?
time worrying about that than the things discussed.
@divegeester saidInstead of talking about truth, you bring it back to talking about me, it's what you do.
Now you’re waffling and obviously desperate to avoid what I’m say to you. It’s a bit cringy tbh.

@divegeester saidI did in my earlier post and here we are again, you worried about an opinion.
show me in your next post how you will discuss the topic of “truth” in such a way that you don’t express your opinion on it.
Third time of asking.

@divegeester saidTrue things can be ignored or denied if people care more about what they think
So not a “universally objective truth” then?
and feel than anything else; allowing for shades of truth denies real truth and
moves it to acceptable opinions. Once truth can be altered for something less than,
we move to what sounds acceptable, not worrying about the truth; instead, what
we are looking for is only what sounds good. Rehabilitating opinion to the level of
truth, the first thing that has to go is absolutes, and embracing contradictions
occurs when what we accept there are no absolutes. If there isn't anything true,
then there isn't any real knowledge of true things, only interpretations. If it is all
just semantics and opinion, winning any argument is as important as losing it
there is no distinction; wrong answers can only occur if there are right answers.
@kellyjay saidIf your personal opinions - about what the "correct answers" are - do not fare well in debate and discussion, maybe that means something; you'd be wise to reflect.
