@kellyjay saidNo, I’m looking at YOUR version of the gospel kellyjay and I have no need to align anything.
You want the scripture to align with everything you are saying, you can refute me by accurately showing how the whole Bible message backs you up, but you cannot. My version of Jesus isn't the one you need to concern yourself with, and you are not going to be judged by what I believe.
I don’t need to be concerned about your versioning of Jesus not your thinly veiled threat of what he will do to me. I am only concerned with my version of Jesus who is totally victorious and of whom it is said “the gates of hell shall not prevail against them”. “Them being the church of god , right.
No, I don’t think I’ll be intimidated by you threatening me with your version of jesus.

@divegeester saidGood, no one, including me, is telling you to look at the gospel according to KellyJay, but what you better be looking at is the scripture, the whole scripture.

@kellyjay saidI’m looking at your version of the gospel, your version of Jesus, which tells us that Jesus will lose billions and billions of souls to Satan while only securing a “few” himself.
Good, no one, including me, is telling you to look at the gospel according to KellyJay, but what you better be looking at is the scripture, the whole scripture.
Your interpretation interpretation is therefore one of Satan winning and winning massively. You cannot refute it.

@divegeester saidIf you are focusing on me you are not looking at what the Bible says.

@kellyjay saidI’m calling out the version of the gospel and the version of Jesus which you happen to subscribe to.
If you are focusing on me you are not looking at what the Bible says.
If you feel up to actually addressing my point, my assertion, my claim about your version of Jesus being a failure, then please feel free to do so.

@divegeester saidI don’t care what you think the differences between what you and I have, the only thing of consequence is if we agree with scripture.

@divegeester saidThen show me how I'm wrong according to scripture, but be warned if you cherry-pick, simply selecting a few verses and ignoring others will be brought to your attention.
I do agree with scripture, and in doing so I see a victorious Christ.
When I look at your version of Jesus I see a failure.

@kellyjay saidIm not arguing scripture with you, I’m arguing your adhesion to an interpretation of it, as I’ve said several times.
Then show me how I'm wrong according to scripture, but be warned if you cherry-pick, simply selecting a few verses and ignoring others will be brought to your attention.
Your version of Jesus saves a “few”, an elect. While Satan destroys billions and billions.
If I’ve got that wrong then please correct me because it’s YOUR gospel, not mine.

@divegeester saidI think you misunderstand a critical point; Satan doesn't win because Satan destroys billions. What Jesus is protecting us from isn't Satan; Satan is nothing compared to God; Jesus is protecting us from God, not the devil. God is HOLY, RIGHTEOUS, GOOD, and evil cannot come into His presence, and that is precisely what will happen if we die in our sins and God will do to everyone given to a life sin instead of total righteousness that is only found in God.

Righteousness God gives us is why we can be saved. He didn't have to do that, He was wholly justified not doing it, but He loved us, so He has given us a chance to be redeemed by Him; nothing short of God in us redeems us.
So we repent, we give our lives to God, you have us doing nothing because God must accept us without conditions; your doctrine is justification by God to unrepented sinners who don't love each other or God.

@kellyjay saidThis post by you is merely you exuding your personal belief about what you believe.

The numbers speak for themselves: your version of Jesus saves a few, but Satan destroys billions and billions. How does that seem like a victory in your mind?
@divegeester saidLife and death are both creations of God, not Satan.

Produce scripture to say God redeems the unrepentant, the God-haters, murders, and liars that don't repent and ask for forgiveness.
@kellyjay saidNo, you start a thread on that if it interests you and I will see if I want to contribute.

This thread is specifically about YOUR version of the gospel and YOUR version of a Jesus in which he only saves the “few” and Satan wins by winning billions upon billions. That is what YOUR version is.
Stick to the topic and address what THIS thread is about.
@divegeester saidPut up or shut up dive; your opinion is meaningless if it cannot be backed up with the Word.

@kellyjay saidNow you’re just getting upset.
Put up or shut up dive; your opinion is meaningless if it cannot be backed up with the Word.
I have “put up” kellyjay, I’ve put up that you’re gospel talks about a “few” being saved, correct?
Therefore, again according to your interpretation of scripture, the rest are burnt in hell for eternity. These are YOUR beliefs, not mine!
Your version of Jesus loses billions upon billions to Satan, and only saves a this “few”.
So the onus here is on you to show this isn’t correct in terms of your beliefs. Just try not to “get personal” if you can avoid it.
