I have no irrational fears, because I have faith in the Son of God, Jesus Christ. I have no fear. I fear not even death, because if I died today, I know where I'm going. I've often caught myself thinking - in response to another's ill fate: "Why couldn't that have been me who died or had cancer. Why couldn't that have been me? I would gladly go to Heaven this day. But, this poor man who has not Jesus in his heart died in a horrible way." But, the Word of God is plain. God promises a man long life if he holds fast to his faith in Christ.

And, you, Mr. LemonJello, perhaps will be like my father in his spiritual journey? He denied Jesus for decades - all the way into his early 60s - but as death approached and suddenly realized he won't live forever, he suddenly fears that which deep down in his heart he really knew! He will answer to a God! I don't know how many people get old and end up going to church thinking that will save them. They've lived their entires lives scoffing at the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and then they get to the death bed and right before they die they have some priest by the bed, because they suddenly get scared. And, they should be! They surely should be! And, then they ask the Lord to forgive them and get saved - luckily - right before they die. And, they're whole lives have been but a sham. I don't know if I respect my grandfather for this, but he was very wealthy. He was wealthy and a wise man! He was a genius in business and a chess master. He played me a lot when I was little. This same man got cancer. He was on his death bed, and my mother asked him, "Bo, don't you want to pray the sinner's prayer?" And, he says, "No, I'm not going to be a hypocrite. I've lived my life as well as I knew how. I will go to the grave accepting who am and what I've done." But, I pray that he isn't in Hell, that somewhere he prayed the sinner's prayer. Because, it's just utterly sad if he went to hell. But, he probably did. Of course, no one knows but God. But, I pray Bo went to Heaven. He was a good person, but being a good person doesn't get you salvation and grace. Only your acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior gets you to Heaven. So, LemonJello, when you get old and on your death bed, remember what I've said. I think I'd rather be a hypocrite and pray the sinners prayer and repent, and not go to hell. But, the sad part is you can pray all you want, but if you do not believe it in your heart and have faith the Son of God Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, you might as well be singing Mary had a little lamb.

It's inaccurate on every level, Rofley. Go to the above link. It's a widely uses site to show people who are not so knowledgable how carbon dating is just pure farce!

I can tell from the URL that this is pure crap. You cannot use radiocarbon dating to date the dinosaurs - they're too old. You have to use Uranium 235 or similar with a longer half life (U235 is ~700 million years).
