Did nature start or did nature have a beginning?

If it had a beginning it would have had to be something supernatural. Right?

But maybe you're going to make the case that the universe has always been in existence ?

No beginning to the space / time / matter /energy of the universe ?

I don't harness the fact that neither of us know about the origin or age of the universe to conjecture about supernatural things.

Maybe it has. Neither of us know the answer to this.

So your basic position on all cosmological matters is, “Who the heck knows?”

Hard to argue with that.

Good Will Hunting.

No 'possibly' about it.

I have actually never seen Good Will Hunting, believe it or not.

Now that I have your recommendation, I'll have to start looking for it.

Is Good Will Hunting where you got ideas about how to pretend to be a mental health professional? Or did you get those from the team of mental health professionals who supervise you?

Right. We don't know for sure because none of us was there to witness it.

is it possible Someone Who DID witness it REVEAL the matter to us ?

Impossible ?
Possible ?

If you say impossible, how do you know?

If you say its possible, that Someone would be supernatural? Right?

Neither of us knows the answers to the questions you asked me. That find yourself filling this gap in your knowledge with aspirations, conjecture and elaborate religious dogma does not create any moral issues for me.

But the matter could be revealed to us, at which point we might choose TO or NOT TO believe that Seer, that informer, that revealer.

Right?

I choose to believe that revealer because of other things done which indicates that revealer has authority and power in the realm of creation.

He also has authority and power in the realm of sheer goodness.

" In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.

All thing came into being through Him, and apart from Him not one thing came into being which has come into being. (John 1:1-3)

I have chosen to believe this Person informs rightly.
"And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us ... " (v.14)

Anybody can of course SAY what the origin of the universe is. Not anybody can SAY so and live and speak as Jesus of Nazareth spoke and lived.
