@sonship saidContinue reading [I know how that must be hard for you] and you will see in every letter to the churches Paul says there is no inheritance in the Kingdom of God unless the believer lives righteously. 'Saved' does not mean 'eternal life'.
@divegeester
Still there. Amazingg. I checked Romans 10:9,10 is still there.
Follow me around to the next ten threads and ask me this twenty five more times so I can check if it STILL says -
[b]"That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord abd believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you . . . . will be saved.
or sith the hear ...[text shortened]... , whether he is conversant on one or another presentation of a doctrinal statment on the triune God.
So the righteous Christian is saved and given eternal life in the end.
The unrighteous Christian is saved but not given eternal life in the end. They are destroyed, along with all the other wicked.
I would like to ask you Divegeester SOMETHING which you have not been asked before. You like repetition ad infinitum.
Let me ask you this:
If Jesus said "the Father is greater than I" and the Father has bestowed upon Jesus a name which is above every name, then to make the Father happy shouldn't we too exalt Jesus to the uttermost in our hearts forever?
Wouldn't we be in rebellion if we did not exalt in our hearts the name of Jesus to the uttermost ?
"He humbled Himself, becomming obedient even unto death, and that the death of a cross. Therefore also God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, And every tongue should openly confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father." (Phil 2:9-11)
@Rajk999
YOU SAID that I do not understand what you teach.
You often misrepresent what others believe and teach.
I am tempted to prove to you that I can write pretty much WHAT you believe and teach accurately without distortion, FAIRLY, without objectively and misrepresentation. And I could do so without voicing any disageement.
I would call such a thread "What Rajk999 believes".
I wager that everyone here could VOTE to decide if I have fairly represented WHAT it mostly is that you have been arguing over the years.
You rally your sympathizers and unsympathizers to examine it and vote and I'll see if they think I have fairly understood your beliefs 95%.
Want to take the challenge on?
@sonship saidI can repeat exactly what you say but I have no interest in regurgitating your false doctrine to prove your stupid point. I am here on this site for 2 reasons only, to play chess and to prove to anyone willing to hear, that many of the churches of today preach a doctrine contrary to that preached by Jesus and the Apostles.

You seem to relish discussing other people and talking about yourself. This is why you dont have the teachings of Christ. You are down in the gutter, and you wont be dragging me down there with you.
@Rajk999
I think YOU do not recognize that I DO understand the major beliefs that you have written about here. You said I do not understand you.
I both understand you and take zero delight in misrepresenting those beliefs.
You on the other hand MISREPRESENT or MISUNDERSTAND what others write.
And you try to teach preach just as much as anyone else.
So forget about the "Less Teachy than Thou!" facade you're doning on now.

You TWIST and SLANT dishonestly and have repeatedly written that I encourage sinning once one has become a Christian.
This is your shameful slander, your shameful misrepresentation, your shameful libel and character assasination and TWISTING of what I have labored to explain to any who would listen.
Exegesis aside, basic integrity is a problem for you Rajk999.
But I am willing to forgive you. But you should stop.
I can accurately convey what YOU believe without such gimmicks.
@sonship saidThat is exactly what you preach. Your doctrine encourages sin and evil. You are an evil man, promoting mouth worship.

You TWIST and SLANT dis ...[text shortened]... give you. But you should stop.

Let me simplify this for you. You say that for Christians :
- there are no consequences for their sin,
- all their sins are forgiven,
- they still get eternal life in the end,
- the only thing that happens to sinful evil Christians is a loss of rewards
Your doctrine is encouraging sin and they are not in the bible.
I may need to apologize however for giving you the impression that I need your forgiveness. I dont need anything from you. As far as I am concerned you are an enemy of Christ and the Apostles because you deliberately take their teachings and twist them to satisfy your cult.
@sonship saidGod is infinitely incomprehensible,... and yet you seek to define Him as the Trinity?
@Ghost-of-a-Duke
There is proably nothing in the natural world which could serve as a suitale illustration of three-oneness.
I have thought about the Trinity a lot over the years. And lately it seems to make sense to me. What I mean is this:
That we creatures of time and space come into contact with God, something fundamentally incomprehensible se encounter. ...[text shortened]... we simply cannot grasp.
No illustration in the natural world can do such a mystery justice.
@sonship saidAgreed.
It is not a perfect illustration. I am sure you can locate holes in the logic.
And yes, a great many.
@kellyjay said"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
Yes three persons One Being, they are in total harmony with each other doing all things in agreement.
@vivify saidIs it different when it comes to theory or anything else we tend to trust for truth.
The more you can question an authority the less control that authority has. So if the Bible is wrong in one area, you can question or even disobey others.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidYes the Son, the sinless Son taking on the sin of all mankind. Do you think the pain of the cross caused Jesus to sweat blood or this moment?
"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
@kellyjay saidI'm asking you Kelly why Jesus asked his father if He had abandoned him, if as you say, 'they are in total harmony with each other doing all things in agreement' ?
Yes the Son, the sinless Son taking on the sin of all mankind. Do you think the pain of the cross caused Jesus to sweat blood or this moment?
It's ok if you don't know the answer.
