I simply didn't understand what you tried to say to me, now you're trying to put me in a whole different bucket - go figure.

Has he unequivocally shared his own true belief on the topic? I would be interested to see it. The last time I asked him he said he didn't know.
At least his "non-belief" of "eternal torment". After all this time, I'm not sure what he does believe will happen to those found wanting at Judgement. He has always been about stating his unbelief of the concept of "eternal torment", and perhaps his stridency has overshadowed what he thinks does happen in its stead. I'm not sure. He may have presented such at some time, but his total disbelief of "eternal torment" spans many, many threads, even some whose topic was not "eternal torment", so that now I cannot remember if he ever stated his believed alternative or not.

This thread is about the nonsensical notion that a god, Jesus in fact, will love the world and all in it so much that he is prepared to die for them, and then, if rejected, he will be in hell with his angels burning the rejectors alive for all eternity. Burning people alive for eternity. It’s nonsense. That is what this thread is about.
I refuse to believe it. It is error. It is abhorrent. It is nonsense.
What do you believe about it?

I believe it and you don't.
There are many many reasons why I believe this to be true. I believe this is Gods world, surely it is his rules right?
The complexity of all living beings, cells, DNA, planets, solar systems, galaxies, stars etc surely points to a Designer which I believe to be God.
Everything inside/outside the entire universe operates by uniform laws of nature - meaning all is working as planned right?
By just naming the above I purely full heartedly believe in God. To me it is clear someone created it all.
I choose to believe Jesus died on the cross so that the sins I commit can be forgiven - no one can be free of sin.
If the Bible is the Word of God and the Word of God is truth, then I believe every word in it, even the part where it says that if you do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that only through Him you can be saved, then there will be eternal suffering.
It says it in the Bible - and I believe every word of it.
Edit: Jesus died for all of us YES, but do you accept that fact?

I have no reason to sidestep you - are you going to stick to this lame excuse because you also have no idea what you said?
Just rephrase so I can answer - or stick with whatever you think is okay. Doesn't bother me at all.

No it's OK, it turns out yours is the torturer god ideology. Subsequent posts have made that clear. Good for you.

Who, where and when?
Originally posted by @dj2becker"And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
Who ever believes Jesus and his angels will be in hell burning the rejectors?
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." -- Revelation 14:9-11, KJV
This is what he refers to, even though it is clear that this is reserved for those who worship the Beast and take his mark, and not simply those who reject Christ.
