Perhaps you are simply not clever enough to discuss things with me. The post was cogent and on-topic. Oh well. 😉
Just because you're so clever, I would have assumed you would know the difference that by not understanding something doesn't mean you're not clever - if you don't understand you don't understand, but I guess you don't understand.

They will be watching the burning, according to the Bible, and according to sonship, for example.
"They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb."

Just rephrase so I can answer - or stick with whatever you think is okay. Doesn't bother me at all.
No it's OK, it turns out yours is the torturer god ideology. Subsequent posts have made that clear. Good for you.

Originally posted by @nickstenI see, so you as I suspected you do find it acceptable that the loving Jesus of John 3:16 will, as my OP points out, be burning alive those who have rejected him for eternity in a hellish place designed and maintained for that very purpose.
If the Bible is the Word of God and the Word of God is truth, then I believe every word in it, even the part where it says that if you do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that only through Him you can be saved, then there will be eternal suffering.
It says it in the Bible - and I believe every word of it.
Nice.

This is what he refers to, even though it is clear that this is reserved for those who worship the Beast and take his mark, and not simply those who reject Christ.
It's interesting that dj2becker - when posting as Fetchmyjunk - said he did not believe in the endless burning of non-believers in "hell" theology - and now he seems to. There was a poster called lemon lime who thought the endless burning of non-believers in "hell" doctrine was nonsense and had done so for 40 years but who then adopted the ideology - in the space of a couple of thread pages - in order to be able to criticise divegeester for not believing it!
