So don't think the Titans pass offense is teriible or can't move the ball based on their passing yards per game rank, because when they've had to win the game, THEY HAVE.
Play the Giants and see how Kerry Collins does.

If you think the Titans are going to be able to run at will against top defenses, you're deluded. The only one they've faced held them to 47 yards and an 80 yard drive for a last minute TD ain't gonna mean much when you're down say 24-7.

Homers can say anything, no matter how ridiculous, so if you want to keep pretending that Kerry Collins is a top tier QB who's going to lead the Titans to the championship, go ahead. I'd say he's one typical Kerry Collins day from taking his well-deserved seat back on the bench.

You might have to be very quiet after tonight, as a matter of fact.

Go Titans and GO KERRY COLLINS!

This is Fox Sports' Pro Football Power Rankings for the week for the Top Ten teams (per their rankings)
RK Team REC PRV High/Low Comment
1 Titans 7-0 - 1/12 Tennessee found the spotlight mighty enticing last night, and responded as an unbeaten should. Minus the garbage-time touchdown at the end, the Titans whipped the Colts and with their schedule, the only team they have to fear is themselves.
Tennessee found the spotlight mighty enticing last night, and responded as an unbeaten should. Minus the garbage-time touchdown at the end, the Titans whipped the Colts and with their schedule, the only team they have to fear is themselves. Can they handle being the target each week? With that running game and defense -- plus a tough head coach leading the way -- they will. THIS WEEK: vs. Packers (4-3)
2 Giants 6-1 1 1/7 Who needs Plaxico Burress anyway? Old-school coaches everywhere were winners with the Giants winning in Pittsburgh (no easy task) without major contribution from the NFL's current "Nutty Wide Receiver Du Jour." Now, the game we've all been waiting for as Dallas comes to town.

Now, the game we've all been waiting for as Dallas comes to town. Too bad the Giants' pass rush may be facing off with Brooks Bollinger. THIS WEEK: vs. Cowboys (5-3)
3 Steelers 5-2 1 2/6 They persevered and almost pulled off the win against the Giants with injuries shaking down the starting roster. But who thought it would be the loss of a long snapper that would be the last straw? Coach Mike Tomlin and his staff will need to work on pass protection and blitz pick-up, as Steeler QBs have been dropped 14 times in their two losses (both to NFC East teams).

THIS WEEK: at Redskins (6-2)
4 Redskins 6-2 - 2/19 The final score will never be impressive or dominating, but they don't give points for controlling the clock and breaking the will of opposing teams. That said, it'd be nice if Jim Zorn's crew could put away also-rans a little earlier.

5 Bills 5-2 - 5/20 How could the Bills not drop after losing at Miami last week? Let's not overreact to a tight road loss in the division. Maybe we had the Bills slotted right where they should have been even when they were 5-1.
How could the Bills not drop after losing at Miami last week? Let's not overreact to a tight road loss in the division. Maybe we had the Bills slotted right where they should have been even when they were 5-1. But the Bills should make sure that a four-turnover fourth quarter is the aberration and not the norm. THIS WEEK: vs. Jets (4-3)
6 Buccaneers 5-3 - 6/17 Like Buffalo, dropping the Bucs after a toss-up road loss in Dallas makes little sense. That defense gave up its only touchdown on a jump ball, and will likely keep the Bucs in the Top 10 throughout the season.
Like Buffalo, dropping the Bucs after a toss-up road loss in Dallas makes little sense. That defense gave up its only touchdown on a jump ball, and will likely keep the Bucs in the Top 10 throughout the season. But Chucky's Bucs must get more than five yards per pass attempt from the quarterback. Man, put Brett Favre on this team and … oh, never mind. THIS WEEK: at Chiefs (1-6)
7 Panthers 6-2 - 4/13 Another second-half comeback for the tough Panthers put them back atop the competitive NFC South heading into their bye. After the bye, Carolina has two cupcakes to devour (Oakland and Detroit) and should be 8-2 heading into a Week 12 visit to Atlanta in a rematch with Matt Ryan's Falcons.

8 Bears 4-3 - 8/23 The Bears own the NFL's second-highest scoring offense. That is not a typo. The banged-up secondary is starting to get healthy, too. Da Bears seem poised for a strong second-half run, leading all of Chicago to grow Kyle Orton-style neck beards.

9 Cardinals 4-3 - 9/23 Kurt Warner's crew almost pulled it off in Carolina, but Arizona still got a case of Cardinal-itis -- the disease which causes turnovers at the worst times, drive-killing drops and your coach to call unnecessary and desperate fake field goals that take sure points off the board in key road games.

10 Cowboys 5-3 2 2/12 Wade Phillips saved his job, but Brad Johnson may have lost his as backup quarterback. Can you imagine if Jeff Garcia would have dropped the 'Boys to 4-4 in Texas Stadium? Jerry Jones' face may have melted.

Just reminding everyone I said the Titans will win the Superbowl many weeks ago...
If they can hold the green bay offense next week, there should be no more debate in this thread.
You don't have to score many if the other team scores none!
Originally posted by YEAH BOYThe Titans would CRUSH the Eagles and Cowboys. The Redskins I think they could handle, and the Giants would give us a run for our money. The Titans are the best team in the league, end of story. The stats and record proves it.

Originally posted by JohnLennonForeverThe Colts aren't healthy, but they still scored three touchdowns against your super defense. That's an offense that is ranked dead last in rushing yardage and 21st in total yards. That's a "premier offense"?

The Titans are winning their games against weak opposition. If you really think Kerry Collins at this, or any point in his career, is a QB who can win a Super Bowl, you are deluded (3 TD passes in 6 games???). In the playoffs, sooner or later, you'll have to face a balanced, healthy team and then it will be goodbye Titans.
Originally posted by uzlessAnd you're wrong. With their weak schedule they have a good chance of finishing the #1 AFC seed, but their defense isn't that great (it's 3rd in the AFC) and they haven't passed for over 200 yards in a game yet. There's no way a team with the flaws this one has wins the SB.

Originally posted by YEAH BOYEvery team in the NFC East is in the top 10 in both total offense AND total defense. The Titans have a good defense (4th in the league though that's against the weakest schedule) but their offense is only 23rd (also against the weakest schedule). I think that every team in the NFC East would be favored against them on a neutral site.
