True they are not healthy but their offense is still good. And 21 points, you act as if that is alot. When I said the Titans average 24 points a game you said that they don't score enough to win games but all of a sudden when the Colts score 21 that is alot? And that last touchdown they got was a joke. The Titans didn't have to play to win anymore so they were taking a rest since the game by that point was out of reach for the Colts.
The Colts aren't healthy, but they still scored three touchdowns against your super defense. That's an offense that is ranked dead last in rushing yardage and 21st in total yards. That's a "premier offense"?
The Titans are winning their games against weak opposition. If you really think Kerry Collins at this, or any point in his career, i ...[text shortened]... or later, you'll have to face a balanced, healthy team and then it will be goodbye Titans.

Every team in the NFC East is in the top 10 in both total offense AND total defense. The Titans have a good defense (4th in the league though that's against the weakest schedule) but their offense is only 23rd (also against the weakest schedule). I think that every team in the NFC East would be favored against them on a neutral site.
And as for Kerry Collins is concerned he DOES NOT HAVE TO HAVE A VERY EFFICIENT PASSING GAME. He does not have to be able to throw for 200 or 300 plus yards because the defense will STOP the other team and the running game will SCORE. But when Kerry Collins has had to throw the ball efficiently, he has. HE is the one who allowed the Titans to come back in that Colts game because they were stopping our run pretty well and when he had to step up and throw the ball, HE DID.
And also let me say this, IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MANY YARDS YOU GET, IF YOU DO NOT SCORE THEN YARDS DON'T MATTER. The ultimate goal is to outscore your opponent in every game and the Titans are doing that which no other team can say. And as for you saying the Titans do not score enough, the Titans have 20 touchdowns on the season which is 10th in the stats list. Not only that, but they are averagint 25.7 points per game. What more do you need to prove that their offense is good enough to beat anyone?

I'll be having a good laugh at your expense come January. For your homework, you can start writing your excuses as to why the Titans failed in the playoffs NOW.
Originally posted by no1marauderIf I'm a child, then you must be a BABY. Because you are ignoring the fact that the Steelers have played nobody of quality except for the Giants. And once again I will repeat the Giants have played only 2 teams of playoff quality in Washington and Pittsburgh. Does that mean that the Giants and the Steelers are overrated because they have played NOONE. Oh and both of those teams have scored fewer touchdowns than the Titans. So that must mean the Titans are better than both these teams.

The Giants have now beaten 6-2 Washington and 5-2 Pittsburgh (the Steelers are unbeaten in the AFC); your biggest victory was a skin of the teeth win over a Raven team that is 4-3 and playing a rookie QB. The Giants had a bad game against Cleveland (which certainly isn't out of playoff contention); you'll have your crap games soon enough.

Kerry Collins sucks and the Titans' success so far is based in sand. You're going to look pretty dumb later for all this ridiculous boasting early in the season. Smarten up.
Originally posted by no1marauderOur biggest win was a win against the Ravens are you crazy? The Vikings game we played was a HUGE win. Not to mention the Colts game was a HUGE win. The Ravens game was a HUGE win. The Jacksonville win at the beginning of the season was a HUGE WIN. Oh wait last time I checked EVERY WIN IS A HUGE WIN. A win is a win, you cannot put a mark on the quality of a win. EVERY WIN IS A WIN THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS.

You put the weakest NFL team up against the strongest college football team and I bet you the pros when every time. A win is a win and NO WIN, I repeat NO WIN IS EASY.

One more thing though, not once have I said that the Titans couldn't be beat. All I've been saying is that the Titans are GOOD ENOUGH TO BEAT ANYBODY. And I think so far they have been doing that, which no other team can say. Also not once have I said the Titans can or will win the Superbowl. All I asked in this thread is can the Titans win the AFC South. And considering they have virtually a four and a half game lead over everyone in the division I think they will.

Who me? I was working all day and went to hang out with a friend after work. I was getting here soon enough, but anyways 8-0 is all I can say. The win wasn't pretty, but a win is a win nonetheless.
