I just resigned my game against Salin i Vitalik.
I went for a dubious opening line leaving Salin with 3 light pieces for the Queen. Slowly initiative turned in favour of my opp and I was subsequently run over. Very good game from Salin.

Yes, that was a really good queen sacrifice, I have been watching that game with great intrest - although as long as the queen doesnt get into the action quickly it almost always gets overwhelmed by the minor pieces in a closed middlegame such as this.

I thought maybe you might have had a go at annoying his king by getting your queen out into the open again, but am not sure what this would have acomplished.

I doubt it now, he is likely to drop a lot of points before the end.

I've made things a bit more straightforward. Two horse race now, (Gatecrasher eliminated), with advantage to cludi... it's always best to have the points in the bag!
