By contrast, Olympic officials have ze ...[text shortened]... em. That is "hypocritical" and based on outmoded personal moral values that have no place in sports.
Drugs are certainly a problem in our society. The Olympics sensibly decided not to shrink its list of banned substances. While I'll concede the Olympics are similarly corrupt at least they won't listen to you and they enforce their own rules.

The post that was quoted here has been removedPerhaps the USADA is (over?)confident that it can win the 4 X100 meter women's relay without their best sprinter; it is typically an event the US has dominated and the country has won the last two Olympic golds.
Their explanation of why Richardson was excluded from an event she would have been allowed to compete in even with the suspension was long on platitudes but short on reasoning.

The rules are: no cannabis.
Whether it is a good rule or not, holding people to it is not racist. That’s the only point I’m making.
I, personally, couldn’t care less if someone smokes pot (or snorts cocaine for that matter). I don’t even watch sports (unless it’s nude female tennis or something).
