Once again, you simply miss the point. I didn't say that the Bush got him. I said We got him. The America... the US outflanked Castro with our powerful democracy. When a specific American president dies or resigns America replaces him/her, and America keeps goin' strong. But when Castro resigns, that's it. No more Castro.

Even when he is replaced by his brother (admittedly A Castro) he is still defeated. He is simply replaced by a fundamentally different Castro. The America has defeated the Castro. There is no point in trying to belittle our victory. We've waited a long time, and worked very hard, for this.

You did nothing effective - he simply stood down of his own accord.

That makes as much sense as me claiming Iceland defeated the US because Bush won't be your president for long.
