First let us stipulate that the palestinians have never existed in the modern world, it is a creative invention by Islam. They supposedly lived in a nation that never existed. It was invented shortly after the nation of Israel sprang into existence...the home of the jewish people.
Prior to invention of palestinians, the arabs lusted after the land of the jews, who had worked hard and transformed that desert land into a well irrigated and beautiful oasis. The arabs decided they wanted it, and sent an army massacre all of the Jews and steal their land . The jews drove them back. But prior to the invasion, the arabs warned all the neighbors, in Jordan, Syria and Lebanon to get out, we will be back. We are going to take it over.
But when the arabs failed to capture israel,, the arabs who had left had no place to go. So, that is when the muslims INVENTED the Palestinians. They told the Jordanians, the Syrians and the Lebanese that they are now Palestinians. They were told to spread the word that the jews had stolen their homeland from them and that they were now poor refugees.
The UN bought this story, together with libs such as yourselves, and the Palestinians came into existence for the express purpose of causing trouble for Israel. So today, when liberals whine that Israel is occupying the land of Palestinians, that is horse dodo.
@averagejoe1 saidThat sure is a story or what we call in the States, BS.

The population of Palestine was overwhelming non-Jewish until 1948 (and was still only 1/3 Jewish at that point); it hadn't been "the home of the Jewish people" for almost 2000 years:
"Prior to dismemberment of the Ottoman Empire, the population of the area comprising modern Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza Strip was not exclusively Muslim. Under the empire's rule in the mid-16th century, there were no more than 10,000 Jews in Palestine,[2] making up around 5% of the population. By the mid-19th century, Turkish sources recorded that 80% of the population of 600,000 was identified as Muslim, 10% as Christian Arab and 5–7% as Jewish.[3]"

What right wing liar did you swallow this line from?
@no1marauder saidStay with me here.......How in the WORLD can this article say that '....in the mid 16th, there were no more than 10,000 Jews in Palestine', when you cannot produce any evidence that Palestine even existed then. Sure, the word is derived from some similar word like Philistia, for what that is worth. For that matter, the word Sonhouse is probably derived from the medieval. Its use then is not its use now.
That sure is a story or what we call in the States, BS.

But can you stick to the last hundred years or so? You know, boundaries, countries, what are the countries that are all adjacent to each other? That would be a good reference point. I fear you will rather go off on a tangent.
@AverageJoe1
Why does it take SIX (6) maps to explain where it even is!!?!?!?!?!??

@averagejoe1 saidThe Greek historian Herodotus called the area Palaistī́nē in the 5th Century BC.

Was he talking about a place that didn't exist?
@no1marauder saidI will confess, I do not know what he was talking about. I knew you would tangent, so let us know how Herodotus's comments apply to the news of the day?
The Greek historian Herodotus called the area Palaistī́nē in the 5th Century BC.
Was he talking about a place that didn't exist?
Did our man Herodotus establish something concrete that would have any bearing?
@averagejoe1 saidImbecile, You just claimed "when you cannot produce any evidence that Palestine even existed then " referring to the years it was under Ottoman rule.

But it was called Palestine 2000 years before that.
Your whole first post is filled with ridiculous lies that even the most half hearted google search would reveal within seconds.
@averagejoe1 saidIt has no bearing on anything. The whole area was called Levant. Palestine was never a country but was always a province, region, territory and part of an Empire. In other words indigenous Arabs and others who lived there never governed themselves. The first government there were the Jews back in the time of King David, and the last government there were the Jews again starting from 1948. It is Jewish territory.

@rajk999 saidBS. The fact that the People there were the victims of outside conquerors for many years does not strip them of their Natural Right to self-determination.

And contrary to the ridiculous assertion, there were governments in the area long before King David - remember the Jews invaded the area before that butchering the inhabitants. Jericho, which your Holy Book describes as being conquered by the Jews who murdered everyone in it, is one of the oldest cities in the world being established almost 11,000 years ago.
You really are a big fan of repeating the most absurd lies.

When Britain walked away from the mandate the vast majority of those living in Palestine were Arab Muslims, the Jews declared a Jewish state out of thin air on land overwhelmingly home to Arab Muslims. The state of Israel is based on robbery with violence and the West Bank illegal settlements are continuing the policy of robbery with violence today
@no1marauder saidBut 'What' was called Palestine? If it is not a country with boundaries, etc, what is it? An intangible of some sort, which gfets us back to point A?

You say 'it' was called Palestine.
@kevcvs57 saidA UN sanctioned Partition Plan, is only thin air for you because you are clearly anti-semite . The vast majority of nations at the time accepted the plan and welcomed the State of Israel to the UN subsequently.

The State of Palestine could have existed but all these fools know is war and death and terrorism. They are a sick people and deserve to be defeated over and over.

Query: When you say (were) living 'in' Palestine, where was (is) that? If I say I am living in NYC, I can tell you exactly where that is, and where it is not.
Another query: If I write a letter to my uncle who lives in Israel, it will be addressed to 123 Mitzvah Street, Haifa, Israel. What would be a typical address of my aunt who lives in the so-called Palestine? This is not meant to be a needling question. We are all curious, frankly.

God damn boy, how many times to the intellectuals on this site have to repeat themselves before you get it into your thick skull?
@rajk999 saidIsrael was created by war, death and terrorism not by a nonbinding suggestion by the UN (composed of a fraction of the nations that exist now).
