@shavixmir saidAfter last night, the title of this thread should be changed to 'Fascists defeated on the streets of England.' - Massively out numbered by anti racist demonstrations, all the planned riots were squashed and the minority of racist yobs sent scurrying back to their rocks and parents basements.
Attempting to burn down a refugee centre in a hotel, nazi salutes, rioting…
A young man stabbed children to death last week. And false information claiming he was a moslim circulated (he was actually a non-moslim black man born in Wales). And the fascist thugs have been in an uproar, targetting moslim communities all over England.
Ao, far it’s unclear what the motive ...[text shortened]... ic episode (it truly was ghastly).
Nazi saluting! Churchill will he spinning in his bloody grave.
Rioters were actually 'hoisted with their own petard' and their use of social media to arrange their attacks merely informed the anti-racists where they needed to locate themselves.
Churchill (and Shakespeare) rest peacefully.
@shavixmir saidActually it’s completely the opposite as very few politicians want to debate it; which is partly why there is a problem.
What I’ve heard from British politicians the last 3 or 4 years is a constant rhetoric of anti-immigration propaganda.
Stopping boats, send them to Ruwanda, etc.
Don’t you think that top-down rhetoric from the political establishment is partly to blame for the riots and the way fascists feel?
@divegeester saidBoats to Ruwanda, send them back to Europe… escort them “into the port of Calais with a warship”… seems to me it was discussed a lot.

@shavixmir saidNone of what you mention was “propaganda”, and no the subject of illegal immigration is not being discussed and won’t be at all now this lot are in power.

You won’t see Shav starting a thread on this so I thought I’d post it.
Labour councillor suspended and arrested after publicly calling for protesters to have their throats cut.
I wonder if Two-Tier Keir will fast-track his councillor and give him 32 months in jail like he has other protesters.
Btw this was pitched as a “counter protest” but the was no so called “far right protest” to counter.
@divegeester saidWhat a moron. The councilor, not you (well... not in this context anyways...).

Requesting sloats to be slit isn't really the de-escalation needed...
@shavixmir saidShav you would benefit from looking deeper into what’s happening in the UK my friend.

@divegeester
Everyone would (benefit from looking deeper). You, for example, have quoted Musk. People are giving too much power to those who haven't shown good leadership.
Shavixmir lives in The Netherlands where the poverty rate is almost a tenth [https://www.sdgwatcheurope.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/10.3.a-report-NL.pdf] Whereas the poverty rate in the UK is closer to a quarter [https://fullfact.org/economy/poverty-uk-guide-facts-and-figures/]. The divide between the have's and the havenot's is much less where Shavixmir lives.
Divide and conquer is the aim here, in my opinion, from those that have and have in abundance.
Keep 'us' arguing with each other, thinking the divided landscape is 'picturesque', wondering why the NHS staff find their work environment toxic and believing what should be ours isn't being shared out equally but not looking at those who have way more than they have earned and the people who work the hardest are needing the Foodbank.....
Austerity was a poor choice.
Imagine if we'd all been rioting about the poor state of the Mental Health support available to children in the UK, maybe something would have had to change for the better.
@yo-its-me saidA couple of weird opinions here.

- You think the rich spend the day thinking how to divide and conquer?
- Children need mental health support in the UK? WTF is wrong with you people?
- Other people making you argue with each other? For real?
@Rajk999 saidI am sad that you miss understand on such a deep level Rajk.

I do understand your confusion over the state of Mental Health access in the UK because you are not in the UK. So I will explain. Axel Rudakubana had mental health issues. The process for children to see a mental health practitioner in the UK is very slow. Psychiatrists are often asked to assess risk from a phone call. Children fall through the net all the time. When they reach age 18 and in some counties from age 17, they are aged out of CAMHS and asked to self-refer to the adult mental health service in their area.
@yo-its-me saidI’ve done no such thing.

@yo-its-me saidMy mother has just lost her winter fuel allowance because of political spite tactics from a Labour government who previously attacked the Tories for considering doing it.
@divegeester
Austerity was a poor choice.
The hypocrisy is thick.
