Your very constitution and declaration of independance stands as a message of hope (ignoring the fact that slaves didn't count as whole men) for the whole world. When you back an economy or nation or new technology, the world listens. Why are you selling yourselves so short like this?

America could demonstrate this to upcoming super powers like China.

Australia will see this pandemic of crime someday, as will the entire world. I personally don't feel the need for a gun, and I live in San Diego, CA., which has 3,000,000+ metro-wise. But I cherish the right to be able to obtain a gunh if I ever feel threatened.....
