Trumps tax cuts helped EVERYONE, not just a few well off mostly white folks.
They didn't help me one bit. Because I make less than the people the tax cut was intended for.

you make less than 15,000 ?

“A careful analysis of the IRS tax data, one that includes the effects of tax credits and other reforms to the tax code, shows that filers with an adjusted gross income (AGI) of $15,000 to $50,000 enjoyed an average tax cut of 16 percent to 26 percent in 2018, the first year Republicans’ Tax Cuts and Jobs Act went into effect and the most recent year for which data is available.”

The big giant tax cut. It forgoed a lot more revenue than Biden's student loan foregiveness plan, how come you and KJ aren't screaming about the taxpayers having to pay for it?

Actually, it is the same thing; it's something the government gives you to your advantage. The fact that prior individuals didn't receive the same benefit is not a valid argument against bestowing it now.

These people essentially had the take on the debt or forego the chance of getting a better education. These aren't the kids of the wealthy who didn't face such an ago ...[text shortened]... n more easily pay their bills and perhaps start businesses and families is a wise and humane policy.
Follow me, Marauder. You and your para are in the clouds. Down to earth now, common sense. Your last paragraph, ": So that they can more easily pay thei bills and perhaps start businesses and families., (that is) a wise and humane policy". (Humane smacks of regarding people as animals, livestock)
So you are sending them off to enjoy their new productive lives, with no more debt, while the non-educated of the the world remain 9 to 5 at their places of work, watching their tax money support this people in their oh-so-new lives? Easily paying bills and starting business and raising fat and happy families, to further suck on govt teet?
Marauder, you are really a mess. You have no anchor.

And you think it is quite alright for the ones that had to "forgo' an advanced education to help pay for those that didnt "forgo' an advanced education.

Liberal lunacy at its worst.
Thanks Mott, this comment should bring him around!! NO, maybe not....., it flies right in the face of Marx. There is no question that Marauder is a Marxist.

Sure, a better educated populace is a positive externality that helps society as a whole:

"Education's external benefits are social benefits that spillover to benefit others in the society and future generations. These include lower government health, welfare, and prison costs; strengthened democracy, human rights, political stability, and social capital; less crime an ...[text shortened]... nefits well in excess of such overall small payments (less than .5% of Federal government receipts).
BS. Have you seen the makeup of this society that we live in? It aint our daddy's anymore.....I am assume your daddy did not subscribe as you do to Marx???

Some People Work Hardrer Than Others, Marauder. It skews your pollyanna world.

Society as a whole?????? What in the world does that even mean? Does it include all cultures, or just the good cultures? Pitiful.

Thankfully, because of social programs "libs" put into place that right wingers bitterly opposed and still want to do away with, that little old lady will have ample governmental support.
Social Programs? But what if a bunch of losers get in line ahead of her at the 'program' and everything is gone when she gets there?
Marauder? Too commons sense for you? Then, reword it.

Then you are an idiot you didn't catch the train Suzy. Under trump, income increase by about $5000. You could google that, and th4n come back around. And, for the record, it is not good form to pontificate your personal life when we discuss issues which affect everyone. Why, I have made a few mistakes myself!!!!

I don't think I'll bother responding to any more of your idiotic ranting and raving.

I've outlined what the plan actually does not your ridiculous version of non-reality where taxpayers somehow "support" someone when a debt is partially discharged by the consent of the People. I give up trying to explain to the stupid that the net effect is of a targeted middle class tax cut of small proportions relative to government receipts or point out that far more debt gets discharged in bankruptcy courts or by mutual agreement every single day.

It's simply too exhausting to deal with people as moronic as Joe on a constant basis.
