Incidentally, the last couple of posts which seem to have garnered your sympathy might easily be seen by the cynical reader as a fairly transparent attempt to do just that.

Can you offer a reason why someone would create a story about being involved with a cult?

You got it all wrong. God allowed Joseph to be sold into slavery by his brothers so that he could save the very same brothers from starvation later on. Gods ways are way above our ways. I believe through everything I experienced my faith is now stronger than it ever was before.

You cannot tout the empowerment of "everything you experienced" on one hand and then demonstrate no comprehension of the "everything you experienced" on the other.

Oh yes you are certainly in a better position to understand what I experienced because you read a couple of testimonies but never actually lived there.
