Having the chance to live forever does not mean your immortal. You could still die if God chose so. Only Jehovah, Jesus and the 1440,000 will have that gift.

As usual he was wrong. I showed him the verse where Christ said it. Then he comes back with some nonsense about God making people die who is given life eternal. Where does the bible say that?
By the way, Galveston also knows who the 144,000 is ... its the JWs.

My sister basically lost her mind partially because of the whole 144,000 JW thing and she believed that God no longer loved her because she was not one of the 144,000. She eventually got all messed up because of that crap!! On drugs and messed up! JW's believe they can work there way into heaven or whatever crap! It's crap!!

Revelation 7:9 talks about a great multitude which no one could count from every tribe & tongue and were are they? (more than 144,000) Before the Lamb and the Throne. Who sits on the throne? Man! It's in plain English. Verse 14 says These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation and on it goes. It Smashes JW theology! They will serve God day & night & God will spread His tabernacle over them.

I know it sounds strange. And I also know that if I elaborated and wrote some longer posts I could present a very powerful basis which you would find difficult to refute.
And it would be kind of fun to get into it. But I think there is something else that I would like to discuss with you in particular. That is receiving Christ as life into the human spirit.
Now, it is tempting for me to get into a debate with you on Revelation 14:6 "the eternal gospel" and Matthew 25:31-46. Its fun to show off our Bible knowledge sometimes. And I know that you have underestimated carefulness with which some of these matters have been considered and thought out by some teachers.
But for now I am going to resist this temptation. I would like to relate these remarks to the issue of receiving Christ, -- you MUST ... be born again.
I'm concerned that there are some posters who do not understand the experience of regeneration. And some posters do not seem to understand how man is made a vessel to contain the Spirit of God as divine life within them.
We are not born with that life. We have to receive that life. And it is that life which must grow within us for fulfill god's eternal purpose.
Eschatology is really enjoyable to discuss. But it looses its meaning when regeneration is overlooked.
Regeneration is so important that I should be willing to lose every debate on the 144,000, the great multitude, the 1000 years, whatever .... as long as I could get some one to understand what it is to RECEIVE Christ into thier being.
Do you have anything you would like me to clarify about receiving Christ, in all of this ?

Fortunately its the leaders who fool people are going to be severely punished. False prophets like Charles Russell who made a series of nonsense predictions is in serious trouble. He encouraged followers to sell their property and all their worldly possessions in order to prepare for Christ return in 1914. Many were in serious financial straits subsequently when all his prophesies proved false.
