Uh did you not read the WHOLE post I just gave?

And the Lord shall be King over all the earth.
In that day it shall be—

Apart from all that you have assumed that Christ is God.
Well God is the one who says He will dwell among man not I

Manny

PS: maybe even when God is dwelling among man He will still be in His temple and blazing light and glory will surround him. So this may be correct and we will see the blinding but glorious light coming from God but not God in His very essence. He can manifest himself in any way he chooses 🙂 God has allowed man to see him in various forms through out history.

Your correct I do take a literal stance on God / Christ coming back to the earth to rule someday. What is the point if the Sheppard does not rule the nations as the bible says? It will be the culmination of the ages God once again walking with man as He did in the Garden of Eden. Which reminds us that man once did see and converse with God or do you not believe in the Genesis account? Man was meant to be with God but our sin is what has caused us to not be able to see God.

Revelation 21 (New American Standard Bible)

Revelation 21
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
The New Heaven and Earth

21 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them[b], 4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”

Verse 3 G-75 is where it says The tabernacle (literally tent or dwelling) of God will be among men it further adds and He will dwell among them. I would think you would be excited about this 🙂

To be fair from the New World Translation

New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures
http://www.watchtower.org/e/bible/re/chapter_021.htm

Revelation 21:1-27

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. 2 I saw also the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Also there are a lot of unfulfilled prophecies

this description of this temple at the end of Ezekiel
Is it a future literal temple perhaps the new Jerusalem ? Not sure but it sounds like
the Lord will dwell there.

http://www.biblegateway.com Ezekiel 48

The City Gates

30 “These are the exits of the city: on the north side, 4,500 cubits by measurement, 31 shall be the gates of the city, named for the tribes of Israel, three gates toward the north: the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Levi, one. 32 On the east side, 4,500 cubits, shall be three gates: the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; the gate of Dan, one. 33 On the south side, 4,500 cubits by measurement, shall be three gates: the gate of Simeon, one; the gate of Issachar, one; the gate of Zebulun, one. 34 On the west side, 4,500 cubits, shall be three gates: the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtali, one. 35 The city shall be 18,000 cubits round about; and the name of the city from that day shall be, The Lord is there.’

G-man I know I've thrown a lot of cyber bombs at you guys but dude I love the bible just as you say you do so we do have a common ground to reason from.

Read the bible on your own free from other influences. People here will laugh at scoff but God can and will and does speak through the bible 🙂 Some of the best times of my life is when I was reading the bible daily and God speaks through it.

Thanks Manny. I'm heading off to bed but let me ask you a couple things here to think on.
Is this a literal set of events that will actually happen here on earth or are these things speaking of heaven and the affect this new government will have over the entire earth?
I can understand how this would seem to be a real event that all humans could see but is it really?
The first question is what does it mean when it says there will be no more "sea"? Is that a real thing that will happen? Could the earth survive as well as humans without the oceans? Why would the oceans even need to dissapear?
What about this "New Jerusalem" coming down from heaven? What exactly is that and could such a thing happen? Why would we need a new city?
And who is this bride and who is the bridegroom?
And God was with his people when he saved them from Egypt, but was he literally with them? Was he there is some kind of body walking with them? Or was it his power, guideance and protection that was with them?
And is this tent that will cover his people, literal?
Another question now is this Jesus or God that will be with them? If it is Jesus then why does this scripture say God? Isn't it Jesus that is thought to be down here on earth on a second throne as RJH claimed or is it God? Why use both those terms if it is simply Jesus?
Again as Robbie quoted from the Bible it clearly says "NO man may see God and live". That is not from our beliefs but that is from any Bible and is a fact.
So will God literally come down to earth to reside with us or does that mean his influance and affects will finally be upon us as he promissed and the way it would have been originally in the Garden of Eden?
Well I'm off but will look forward to your thoughts.

No problem Manny. I've never taken it personally and I hope I haven't offended you either.
And I do take your advise and have most of my life. Thanks.

PS...Using the name Jehovah in your prayers is the key. What can it hurt huh?

Praying in the name of Jesus might not hurt either.

What is it with you! I ask you a straight forward question and you post back another question about 'praying'.

No I didn't pray to Jehovah or to Peter Pan nor did I cast runes, divine the water or anything other convoluted method of trying to understand what on Earth you are going on about.
