Keep repeating the lie. I suppose you are just manifesting what is in your heart.

Any one of us could be deceived in our belief concerning salvation.
I have admitted as such in a reply to you earlier which went unaddressed. Ultimately all we know is that we exist. Nothing beyond than can be 100% certain. We have faith and therefore trust that we are saved.

But that does not mean you are saved.

So although once saved always saved is true, in application our human perspective makes it meaningless.

Look at all the false Christians out there claiming Christ. They feel confident of their salvation as well. Is it going to do them any good?

I assume of course saved means those who will be found righteous by Jesus' sacrifice.

If we know for a fact we are saved, then there is no such thing as faith.

I suppose then that when one teaches OSAS one is teaching faith in salvation as a main purpose for being a Christian.

Seems to me that if you make OSAS a major issue you place emphasis on self as opposed to life in Christ.

Given the screwed up nature of human perspective teaching Christ and truth concerning good and evil is the proper discussion. OSAS is just useless division.

The only time OSAS comes up is when someone rails against it. I don't know of anyone going around trying to force the doctrine on others. It's a conclusion based on a string of deductions:

1. Jim has faith in the existence of Christ
2. Jim has faith in the integrity of the Scriptures
3. Jim interprets the Scriptures to say OSAS is true
4. Jim concludes OSAS is correct based on all the above
5. Jim doesn't go around demanding everyone else believe what he believes
6. A whole bunch of other people insist OSAS is incorrect and anyone who believes it is stupid and will burn in hell
7. Jim defends the OSAS doctrine to refute their argument
8. Jim is now under assault for preaching OSAS

The time it comes up is when someone declares their salvation and the "fact" they cant lose it.

Jim needs to insert faith and acknowledge lack of absolute truth and the inherent lack of human perspective. Jim needs to avoid Satan's traps.

1000 Jims start churches fooling poor people who are desperate for miracles in their lives and they put their trust in Pastor Jim. Jim speaks to them of tithing and giving and helping the churches [aka the pastor], and planting seeds. Jim is selling the gospel for profit. Jim tells them that they have eternal life and not even God can take it away. Jim lives in luxury while his member live in poverty. Jim is a crook

Real example or a made up story for your enjoyment or some other reason?

So I guess based on your hypothetical about Jim, anyone who adheres to the doctrine is a crook. Can we add, "and will burn in hell" to that too? Surprised that wasn't there.

Christ is happy you have faith in eternity , now he would appreciate you opening your eyes so you can cast aside your faith.
Open your mind and learn. You can learn things in absolutely anything . Jesus wants you to lose your fear(s) by educating yourself about the universe understanding despite the way people are in this world, this is largely a planet full of lost souls (to put it mildly and simply ) , and is certainly not the way truly civilzed cultures act.
However the truth of the universe still exists on Earth. Little kids and dogs know ._.

Edit:of course this message is only valid for those who know how to deal with negativity. Those who can lookat the glass half instead of half empty. After al , it's no coincidence that you or anyone is alive in this era. I'm sure you've sufferd and learnt like the rest of us

We don't need your condescension. You have no clue how open my eyes are, no clue about my faith, my mind, my learning, my education, my understanding, or my fears. When you arrived (apparently after a lengthy hiatus) I replied in a friendly way to a few of your messages. All I got in return was condescension and rebuke. And I see who you are in lock step with here. So yeah. My eyes are wide open. And you can buzz off.
