[quote] 1 Corinthians 4
Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. 3 I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. 4 My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. 5 Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait ...[text shortened]... e.
It is not about the security or lack therefore of his eternal redemption and eternal life.

We, as you agree, are imperfect with imperfect perception and can be incorrect in our belief of being saved.
Any one of us could be deceived in our belief concerning salvation.

So although once saved always saved is true, in application our human perspective makes it meaningless.
Look at all the false Christians out there claiming Christ. They feel confident of their salvation as well. Is it going to do them any good?
I assume of course saved means those who will be found righteous by Jesus' sacrifice.

Seems to me that if you make OSAS a major issue you place emphasis on self as opposed to life in Christ.
Given the screwed up nature of human perspective teaching Christ and truth concerning good and evil is the proper discussion. OSAS is just useless division.

1. Jim has faith in the existence of Christ
2. Jim has faith in the integrity of the Scriptures
3. Jim interprets the Scriptures to say OSAS is true
4. Jim concludes OSAS is correct based on all the above
5. Jim doesn't go around demanding everyone else believe what he believes
6. A whole bunch of other people insist OSAS is incorrect and anyone who believes it is stupid and will burn in hell
7. Jim defends the OSAS doctrine to refute their argument
8. Jim is now under assault for preaching OSAS

Jim needs to insert faith and acknowledge lack of absolute truth and the inherent lack of human perspective. Jim needs to avoid Satan's traps.

We trust in Christ in faith we are saved. 😉
Open your mind and learn. You can learn things in absolutely anything . Jesus wants you to lose your fear(s) by educating yourself about the universe understanding despite the way people are in this world, this is largely a planet full of lost souls (to put it mildly and simply ) , and is certainly not the way truly civilzed cultures act.
However the truth of the universe still exists on Earth. Little kids and dogs know ._.
Edit:of course this message is only valid for those who know how to deal with negativity. Those who can lookat the glass half instead of half empty. After al , it's no coincidence that you or anyone is alive in this era. I'm sure you've sufferd and learnt like the rest of us
